We should take advantage of our ceremonial burial knowledge over Persia before they learn it. The problem is that masonry will not then yield a profit (getting 14g isn't worth it).

We are a long way still from writing. I would make the trade with China, but I would not sell MAsonry on to the Netherlands and India. Fuelling the tech pace would be worse than taking the risk of extortion. If we have to give it away then so be it. In reality it will only cost a few gold. China will learn CB any time soon. So make the trade whilst it's available.

We can't expect to make a killing with every trade.

Do you maybe have Persia and China confused? It's Persia who don't know CB, so I thought we should get a little more use out of it while we still can.
