Well so far things arent going so well. I got deleted starting area with limited room to build. So far i have horses and incense near me but nothing else. Down below me i have met the aztecs, iriquous and arabia. Arabia so far has plenty of room to build he just needs to clear away the jungle surrounding him.

I would like tips on what i should do. As far as im thinking now i want to go to war once i get as many cities i can get up in my area and go to war with arabia. I get immortals instead of swordsmen so i should take advantage of there bonus. What do you think?

Irrigate your starting peninsula and fill it up (not necessarily in that order). You might want more workers to do that, and to road through that WTF terrain.

EDIT: And barracks might help. ;) (Meaning you need them)

yes irrigation=growth and you need the irrigation there looks like lots of plains. Great start though you've got the incense and the gold and the cows. Keep it up.

Well nothing amazing has happened since i left off. Im just here to give an update of what is going on and what my plans are. I have finished setting my borders and making most of my cities before i go to war. I have found all of the players on my continent. They are the Arabians(pink), Iroquois(purple), aztecs(green), and celtics(light blue) The iroquois have been threatening me lately with demands for techonology. They have access to iron, but luckily are blocked by pink. They have no room to expand anymore and in the near future will be obsolete. The arabians are doing okay, but they have no supply of iron. My plan is to take them out first since they will be no match for my immortals. The aztecs i consider my best friends on the island. They are decently large and have plenty more room to expand. They have no supply of iron. The celtcs are stuck at the bottom which is half snow. They have no where to expand, but do have supply of iron.

I wouldn't build that Colossus if I were you and before going to war I would focus on infrastructure like roads so that you can pump the soldiers to the front line quickly.

Sorry to update when such little time has passed in the game, but i thought id let you guys know that i have declared war on the arabians and have struck them in the heart of their empire. I captured their capitol city right in the middle of their empire. My plans for the future is to conquer more land from them and then make peace. After that i will switch government to republic and start building librarys and market places. I just need a bit more room to grow first otherwise i would be at peace. Also where do you guys think i should put the forbiddon palace? Any tips would be appreciated. Also my immortals on the ss attacking mecca are in packs of 3 not 1.

Ok my only problem with your plan is: why would you take their capital and then more of their territory then make peace?!?! distroy them!!! if you make peace with them thats just one AI who will want to declair war on you. But if you distroy them theres no hard feelings between you and them CS THEIR DEAD!!!

I noticed that you were attacking with Regular Immortals. You should really try to concentrate your unit building to cities w/ barracks, as the troops dont go to waste. Do you even have any barracks?

I am currently building a couple barracks. They really arent needed cuz the arabians only have spearman and archers and they both get owned by regular immortals. I prefer to wait untill i get to republic to start making alot of buildings. On second thoughts i may just destroy them. They are such an easy target. Im about to stop making immortals cuz i have so many of them and the arabians have only killed 1 unit and ive killed about 7 of theirs.

Time for an update. Since i have last spoken to you guys have have conquered 2 more arab cities and 1 iroquoi city. I have switched my government to republic and am now building lots of buildings. I have made peace with the arabians, but when the irquois built a city on an arab city i had just destroyed with furs in the area that i needed i was forced to go to war with them. I easily destroyed that city and conquered another one. The city to the far left was counter attacked. They have sent up about 8 mounted warrior within a few turns. Luckily its all mountain and jungle so they havent really been able to attack my immortals first. I can usually catch them first. I have only lost a few units within the fighting. Much of my continent people do not like me anymorem, but oh well soon they will all be destroyed. My plans for now is to weaken the iroquois and soon to go back to war with the arabians. I have found some islands to the north east witch i am expanding to currently. To sum things up everything is going well

OK so youve gone to war with the iroquois huh? that couldve been genius or suicide. unless your a better player the iroquois just might win agasnt you. for one they have the mounted warriors which i'd say are a match to you immortals. plus 2 AI are way better than one they could get other people agasnt you. but otherwise it looks like your the one in control!

Well since i was having such an easy time with the counter attack i decided to take most of my army somewhere else and capture another city. Well they just ended up comming with more men and recaptured the city, but i was able to capture the other city i had sent my army to. After this war weariness was going into effect so i had to make peace. I was able to get some money and another city from them. So now that im at peace and i try to make more buildings and the aztecs surprise attack me out of nowhere. They capture the city that i had just took from the iroquoi. I make a counter attack and recapture my city. I figure it is best if i just destroy the city cuz they are comming back with more men. After that i make peace with them and they give me money too. I fine that funny since he has a better army then me, but i aint gonna complain.

You will find that i am at war with the arabians again and have conquered another city. I have a military alliance with the iroquois against them. The arabians are pretty much screwed. I hate being a republic cuz i know soon the towns are gonna start complaining. Wish i could be a communist country.

THE WAR IS OVER!!!
Me and the Iroquois ripped throught the arabians like they were nothing. In total i conquered 4 of their cities and i believe the Iroquios conquered 2. They now have 1 city left on some random island in the south east. I was finally able to get someone to like me again. The Iroquois are now polite towards me, but everyone else hates me. It doesnt matter cuz be and the iroquios could conquer those other 2 civilizations that are left on this island. My plans for now is to build more productive buildings and upgrade my army. On a minor note the babylonians were destroyed. Who cares i havent met any of them yet.

Well the Aztecs have declared war on the Iroquois. So far i am staying nuetral untill they start losing a good amount of men. I will more than likely join the Iroquois side. The Aztecs are more powerful. So far it has been a stalemate. They both have right of passage with me so i have seen alot of fighting within my territory. I have seen one Iroquois city get taken then retaken taken and retaken. Its just fun watching men die knowing that my army is now becomming more powerful :ar15:

Well many things have gone on since we last spoke. I have found all of the other civilizations. The zulus are really really powerful. I will have a hard time with them later on in the game. Me and the Iroquoi finally destroyed the Arabians. That leaves 10 civilizations left. The zulus destroyed most of the ottomans and they only have a few cities left. I finally got drugged into the Iroquoi/Aztec war on the side of the Iroquois. I decided once the Iroquois started to lose cities it was time for me to step in. I was able to conquer 2 cities from the aztecs and the Iroquois have conquered 2 also. I have also destroyed 2 more cities. Now practically the whole world hates the Aztecs and are at war with them. The rest of the world just joined the past few turns but i doubt we will see much from them. Currently me and the chinese are the most advanced nations. I am bringing in so much cash from trades i got science at 100%. All of my cities are happy from all the luxury items i was able to import in. I doubt ill ever make peace with the aztecs. My army is supposed to still be weak compared to them, but i have seen little resistance lately.

Seems to be going well.

Try and build up a lot of troops, so then as soon as the war w/ the Aztecs is over, you can sneak over and attack the Iriquoi while they are still recovering.

Hey everyone. I know it has been awhile since i gave the last update. I have only been playing the game in bits and pieces lately. I have since fought 2 wars with the aztecs and have taken a bit of their land and destroyed their cities. Their military is not weak. The iroquois suprisingly declared war on me and i am currenty destroying them. I have the aztecs for my main allie against them. I am also at war with the chinese. The zulus are my allies against them. I have built a strong navy of destroyed and battleships which no one can match yet.

As you can see the zulus have conquered their whole continent. There is a split of water between them and the chinese. The sad thing about hem conquering the whole continent is that they did it in just a few turns. They were conquering about 3-4 cities a turn. They destroyed the Babylon, English, Carthinians, and Ottamans so far.

As you can see my power is no where near theres. I am finally ranked 2 in score. Earlier in the game i was ranked 6 so i have made my way up there considering my starting spot was slightly bad.

Well hear are my plans. The iroquios and Aztecs are no match for my military. I will conquer my whole continined there is no doubt about that. I need to do this b4 i can even think about fighting the zulus. It is going to take a long time to do.

I have never used any other governemnt besides republic. Should i go to democracy or communism and tell me why? Also i dont know if anyone even follows me anymore. PLZ post if you are id like to know, otherwise this is pointless for me.

Come on, your going to get distroyed by the zulus if they get the chinese. what id do is after you took your whole continent get a military alliance with the chinese to distroy the zulus.

communism wouldnt be effective now... now if i were the zulus id be a communism but for now, stay with republic a democracy would ruin your war effort be crippling you with war weiriness.

Im at war with china and zulus. They barely even come after me. MY navy just sinks a few lone ships out there.

Already off to a good start. The zulus have no navy at all so its easy for me to invade them. They do have some bombers that bomb my ships though but thats about it. Im also at war with the Aztecs again and have destroyed 2 of their cities. I usually just take about 6 bombs and bomb one of their cities than roll in with the tanks and they are as easy as gone. They come at me with calvary and infantry when i have tanks and mech infant. So i am conquering my own continent basically as the zulus do nothing.

Id post more often if people seemed interested. Im not sure if anyone is. Can ya guys let me know?

Well after a short war with the zulus i was finally able to make peace with them and the aztecs. During this time i finally changed my government to communism so i could conquer my continent without anyone complaining. A few turns afterwards the russians who i had right of passage with sneak attack me. Bad move. So what i did was i destroyed their capitol and build a new city there. My new city isnt shown on the map below.

After that i made peace with them cuz they are a pain to fight cuz they have mech infantry. So now i turned my eyes towards taking out what is left of my Iroquois on my continent. It took 3 turns to wipe them off my continent since i have modern armor and they have only infantry defending.

After that i made peace with them and declared war on the Aztecs. The aztecs have the same units the Iroquois have, but they have a lot of infrantry and calvary so after taking 2 of their cities i have spent the past 2 turns killing about 15 of their units that have moved into my territory. It is only a matter of time before this whole continent falls under to my control. The aztecs dont stand the slightest chance.

Meanwhile while im fighting the Aztecs and Iroquois the chinese and zulus have been at war. The Chindest have a strong navy so the zulus cant get any men over to the chinese. Any chinese troops landing near the zulus gets wiped out and most of their ships get the hell bombed out of them and end up just heading home. My power has shot up a great amount and its only a matter of times before the zulus will fall to my wrath.

And then there were 5. Only 5 civilizations remain of the original 12. Me and the chinese have wiped the Aztecs off the map. I am a bit pissed off though that the chinese were fighting the aztecs. They were able to gain some cities from them which should of been mine. I killed the aztecs pretty fast and now i basically control my whole continent. Now alls i have to do is build up my navy and make some bombers and fighters so i can knock the chinese off my continent. They will fall fast just like all of the others. After the chinese its the russians and then i can take out the zulus.

As you can see my power has shot up quite a bit. Pretty soon it will be the same as the Zulus. I had big doubts earlier int he game about beating the zulus, but now i see its possible.

Well i have finally at last conquered my whole entire continent. I was able to capture the 7 chinese cities in 2 turns. I could have done it in 1, but i couldnt reach all of their cities in 1 turn. I have also sunk many chinese ships. I am thinking my next target will be the russian island and than after that the chinese. Once those 2 are taken care of i can aim towards the zulu. Its going to take a long time. I was also able to take out a chinese army only using 1 tank. That sure was suprising.

Hey everyone... Im thinking about putting this game on hold. I think monarch has gotten to easy for me to win. Im thinking about starting an emperor game. Im going to try it first on a standard size map.

Can't you use some "write text" function to add text to your pictures? Your writings over the screenshots are almost unreadable...
