I forgot the last questions in the thread. Here are my answers:

1. What would you see as the general kinds of items to be discussed for trade strategy?

Let me see...lux items. If we got plenty of 1 thing, we could make money on the spare that we have. I would trade Strategy items too if we have a good surplus of that resource...But if its a really important resource, I wouldn't trade it.

2. Do you think leaders should propose their own strategy and modify it based on citizen input, or build from the ground up based on what the citizens want?

The leaders make their own stragegy as the Elected position and then as a citizen. Then the citizens can discuss it. Then the leader can poll on those options. If its a tight race, they can have a runoff poll. But I say the first option.

3. Tech queue has been mentioned in this debate, but how do you feel about tech pace and its effect on our neighbors.

We shouldn't stop researching at all. The ancient age is very important for the tech race ect. I say we get the techs that are the most important. The citizens get to decide on this though. Then we can trade techs that we can get big money. But the citizens can decide on all this what to trade ect.

Thanks!

EDIT:

Bonus Question:
With the recent victory for Philosophy in the latest poll, would you support halting the chat the turn prior to the discovery of Philosophy and possibly chaning the tech we recieve from it to something if it is found that our neighbors have one tech or another, namely if they have researched map making while we do Philo?

No, what the people want the people get to chooose whats next. :D

Power to the PEOPLE! :D :goodjob:

Just a little survey question. What is your possition for the future war? The Dutch or the Indians

Indians. Why? First we need land to grow. Let's take out these guys first becuase we won't be squeezed in the middle between the Indians and the Chinese(?) if we take out the Dutch first. I know They have a powerful UU, but we can take them out later becuase we should be more powerful and have more land to take out the Dutch.

Thanks! :D
