Mhcarvers Campaign pledges:
-Like CJ candidate Provolution I will not propose any leglislation before the court
-I will rule on every JR within 48 hours of being added onto the docket
-I promise to uphold the laws of Fannatania and will interpret JR's on their own constitutional merit, not that of the people filing or involved with them

I'd like to reiterate my reasons for running for Judge Advocate.

As we all know, this is a fairly different Demogame. The Constitution and government organization are fundamentally different from anything else we've used since. Now is not the time to look to the past for guidence. We need Judges who are competant, knowledgable, and fair. I, in all humility, fulfill all three of those criteria. I participated heavily in the making of our Constitution, and can therefor say that I am in a better position to rule on Judicial discreprencies than mhcarver.

Looking back on the past Term, the Judiciary has ruled prompty and fairly on all the citizen-requested reviews put forth. Frankly, it would be a disservice to our citizens to replace the Judiciary we currently have with a couple of people who have been untried in the realm of DG6 legal matters.

Vote for competancy, efficiency, and knowledge. Vote for Ashburnham!

Hm, another tight race. Just like last Term.

Well, does anyone have any questions? Comments? Gossip?

Question
1. Would you facilitate (yes) or delay (no) legal reform this term, in terms of adaptive and solution oriented processing? This is a yes/no question.
2. How much slack are you willing to give failing and non-present officials this term?
3. Do technicalities or procedure have anything to say for you ?

1.Yes
2.I personally believe that as the leader of the court that is the deciscion of the CJ and I will back the CJ's deciscion in almost any case though I personally believe that it should be a strict system , posting every 3 days is not that challenging
3.I'm not sure what this question is asking but heres a shot:
I think that procedure should be followed in all cases but I would consider bending the rules If I felt it would hurt the overall demogame somehow

1. Of course. (yes)

2. Certainly less than last term. As our nation grows, it will be more and more important for our officials to be avaliable and attentive to its needs. It is vital that we have a group of officials who are "on the ball" as we go through the crucial expansion phase.

3. Personally, I've always preferred common sense to technicalities. However, a certain amount of respect has to be given to the procedures we use in the Judiciary. The amendment procedure, for example, is a well tought-out practice that allows the citizenry as a whole to participate in the altering of the Constitution. However, I would prefer it if more disputes could be worked out without having to initiate all the procedure and rhetoric that usually goes into a court case.

If this is a tie by law it will go to a runoff, which I agree and would support even if it weren't law since I don't like the idea of the president choosing between favorites in a contested election(vacancies are different) , even though there are two candidates in this case but since the tide seems to be leaning towards the incumbent it appears that may not be necessary

Well, with less than an hour left and Ashburnham ahead by 4 votes I'd like to concede the race. Though it didn't end the way I had hoped at least there was a debate about how things should be run as the nations top prosecutor and a member of its highest court. Plus this was an extremely close race against an incumbent. I would like to congratulate Judge Advocate Ashburnham on a well run campaign and apparently what were some very convincing arguments. and to quote the Governor of California "I'll be back"

Thank you, mhcarver. And thank you to all of you that voted for me. As the governor of California would say, "What is best in life: crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation or their women."

..just kidding.
