I voted for custom, because I think we should make it as large as possible, which is 10,000 squares, with dimensions 80x125. As for the other custom settings, everything normal, so 2's all the way down.

I'd say let's do the first game on a medium map.

Too small and the challenge is just not there. Too large and it'll take forever and a day to complete. Once we've beaten the hell out of the AI and we all know how the democracy game works then we can get together for round 2 on a gigamap.
