It came out a day or two ago in the US I think. Anyone got it?

I only have Dynasty Warriors 3 and like it alot. Is the new version worth getting?

What kind of game is it?

It's a third person action game for the PS2 and takes place in the Three Kingdoms period in ancient China. You pick a warrior to play and fight on a huge 3D battlfield filled with hundreds of soldiers on the screen at the same time. It's pretty cool. :) The game's campaign mode has 7 or 8 stages for each character and a total of about 40-50 stages. It can take some time if you want to play thru several character's campaign mode or max out the characters and get better items and weapons.

I would say go get DW5 or pick up an older cheaper version like DW4 if you are new to the series.

Wow Koei are really good at milking to the death. I thought that the series would end at 4: Empires, but it has to keep going. I say if you have 3/4, then 5 is not worth the extra dollars.

Had 2, loved it, bought 3 - even better. When i bought 4, it was amazing, sadly my PS2 broke and chewed up the disc, i now own a GC. I'm not gonna buy 5 although i'm working on fixing my PS2 myself.

You have a Gamecube now? What games do you have? And pick up Resident Evil 4 if you haven't done so already, now. :hammer:

Grrrrrrrr, you played as a trained up character who had awesome stats versus a rubbish guy . I like games where you train people up, although this isn't in depth at all...

Human Vs games don't take into account trained up characters or not.
