this is inspired by coolio van hoolio's "going back to my roots" article. i, as the mayans will try to get domination (default 66 terrain and pop) on cheiftan without starting any wars. pure expansion. it is a huge map w/ 8 or 9 opponents.

strategy-

i must create at least 2 settler farms, with other cities producing settlers inbetween other things.

need temple of artemis.

so...

i start researching ceremonial burial to get closer to polytheism.

in my 3rd city i start palace prebuild.

(sorry but i can't get any screenies, but if i can miraculously do it, i will.)

all right, now i have built 28 cities about 100 turns into the game, with 9 settlers looking to settle. 28 turns til temple OA (no doubt that i'll get it). I built 3 true settler farms (settler every 4 turns). i am averaging about 1.5 settlers a turn.

What exactly does TOA do?

I think it doubles effect of all temples in your empire, but I could be off.

ToA puts a temple in every city on the same continent.
Whereas Oracle doubles effect of all temples.

Oh...my bad. I still haven't gotten all the conquest wonders' functions down.

1. Press "printscr" on your keyboard.
2. Load it in MS Paint (Or the Mac program) and save it as a jpeg image.
3. Upload the file using the CFC upload sevice, located at the bottom of the page.

the problem is i have 2 computers, one for civ3 and one for internet and such. to make it more difficult, my civ3 computer is a windows, and my internet computer is a mac. since i have no cd burner in my civ3 computer, i can't get any screenies.

jpg screenie files are normally around 200k. even a floppy disk can handle it.

Here's what you do... There's a button next to your scroll lock button, on the right side of the keyboard. Go into paint and press "ctrl-V", then save it. Save it as a .jpg. Upload it.
