I am going to attempt to create better polls from now on. :p
The Poll sets out to answer the following question:-
Do you agree in principle with entering into Military Alliances against distant civilisations?

The External Consulates postion is that this is a cornerstone of a policy designed to slow research rate among the AI. I urge all citizens to vote YES.
