I've seen several threads of Monarch OCC Space Race games, and was wondering what is the earliest victory anyone has achieved with this varient?

Over the past month, I had several failed attempts on LARGE maps, with all of the various 'loss' conditions. Tech pace just seems too slow on large maps (has anyone been successful, or even tried?).

Anyway, I gave it a shot on a standard map, and finished much earlier than any that I have seen here. I am currently playing a second game, in which I am only about 10 turns behind the first, that may end up with an even earlier date. I will reveal both games later this week when I finish the second. I have not many saves from the first, but plenty from the second.

Oh, both games are Netherlands, continents.

Remind me never to play OCC when Jerk-xes is my nearest neighbor. Need I say more? I had just completed Hover Dam and entered my golden age when he apparently got bored. Anyway, I might as well share the happy ending from the first game.

Many? Where? I haven't seen much mention of it outside of the game I recently started in the SG forum.
