Currency will be discovered next turn, and now it's time to get out of despotism. Which way do we want to go about grabbing the republic?

Options are:
*Research the republic - high science
*Research the republic - low science
*Research the republic - lone scientist
*Research monotheism - trade for republic (ditto ;) )
*Research feudalism - trade for republic
*Research engineering - trade for republic
*Turn off research - trade for republic another way
*Abstain

Poll will run for 48 hours. Discussion can be found here (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=116565).

It doesn't ask it, but if we research a MA tech we should do it at min science (either a lone scientist or 10%)

Well, there seems to have been an error in the creation of this poll; it's closed. I'll see if a mod can re-open it. Otherwise, please post your vote in this thread or PM me with your vote. I'm deeply sorry about this; votes were close.

Apparently you have to have whole number days; 1.5 didn't cut it! That is very funny.

I really tossed up between Monotheism and Engineering. For me, researching either one is acceptable with me.

Thanks to the mod who re-opened the poll! :goodjob:

I chose engineering. The AI always seems to go for monotheism. Perhaps we can snag that and republic in a few trades.

Chinky... a re-poll between those two options looks like the way to go.
