i suggest B, and i don´t think we need to know what is north of the shoreline.

Move South!

Move south one space and then evaluate next move - yeah, it's tedious but we need to get these early moves right.

My suggestion is to go with B. If there are resources due south from this area, we should move our Nomads one square SE, (towards lake?/ocean? square) and settle there.
