hello! why cant i play any scenario that can be downloaded from this page? The other conquests scenario can be played in my computer but the others that i recently have downloaded from this page arent playable. It begins loading the scenario untill there comes a black screen with the map and the window where it shows the government and the gold u have. Please help me!!!

Which scenario in particular? Do you get any error messages? Does it actually crash anything?

Some of them are possibly modpacks that require you to install extra graphics packs and units before you can play them.

the scenarios are ww2 global version b ===) one folder with text and art and another biq file
and wwII europe. I have installed all the files that were meant in the thread where i get the scenarios.
Any message appears just the black screen that appears while the scenario is loading and it does not finally load completely. After a few hours of waiting the load of these scenarios an error message of windows appears and closes civilization 3 conquests.

The critical bit is what that error message says - is it something like "missing entry in pediaicons.txt"?

If so, then you have either installed the mod incorrectly, or are missing some necessary files. Find out what the error message is, then try looking in the forum thread for that particular mod.

it is not what you mean. The error that appears is the typical error of windows, the same that appears when the internet explorer crashes. I think it is an error that windows shows because the program does not make any work. The message appears after three hours after the attempt of loading the scenario.
needs the ww2 global scenario any modpack? and the ww2 europe scenario?

I dont know if this happens to be that I am unlucky or what, but I have downloaded those 2 scenerios as well, and ONLY those, and am having the same issue with the screen going black and not working. I am going to attempt to download others and see if those work.

Please let me know if anyone has any solutions or if you have figured out this problem.

Ok, I tried others, and they do not work either. I am gonna attempt to play some play the world scenerios to see if they work. I would like to play on Conquests though, and rebooted my game to see if it was not working b/c I had version 1.22, but that did not hlp either.

ok, I got Opium Wars, the scenerio to work, nothing else working though, tried TGR (the great war, a WW1 scenerio) and it not working like the others.

Could that WWII Europe scenario possibly be mine? If so, if you've installed it correctly it shouldn't do that... and the loading times (the amount of time that goes from that "Loading Scenario..." screen to actually playing it) are only 1-5min, depending on your computers speed.

On other scenarios, the loading times are usually many many hours which is why they have savegames from the start. Their loading times are much smaller.

And if it gives the "This program is not responding" message just press cancel and let it think.
