mad-bax May 08, 2005, 03:09 AM Hi Noldy :)
Do you want to post separate instructions for tomorrows turnchat, or are you going to wait for the next one?
Noldodan May 08, 2005, 06:54 AM I'm going to wait, but thanks for asking.
Ginger_Ale May 09, 2005, 06:31 AM Proposed Changes for Ela Springs for this next turnchat: This turn, turn 0, change the laborer from the floodplain to the grassland on river to gain an extra shield and save 11 turns off the courthouse build.
greekguy May 09, 2005, 05:09 PM Isn't this great? Rivendell is in the province of Middle-Earth. My question is can i be the mayor of Rivendell, please.
zyxy May 09, 2005, 06:57 PM Ah, governor. I see you have been installed. I would like to request the mayorship of the city of Warm'ogh, please.
Noldodan May 09, 2005, 08:09 PM Mayoralties granted to greekguy and zyxy. Have a nice tenure! :)
Bertie May 10, 2005, 10:03 AM Dear Governor Noldodan,
I would be extremely grateful if you would grant me the mayorship of the fine town of Barchester.
Your humble servant,
Bertie
zyxy May 10, 2005, 11:25 AM Dear Governor,
Thank you for the Mayorship of Warm'ogh. This town is on a river and fairly near to our capital (present and future), so it has decent potential as a future powerhouse. Therefore I would suggest it continues building a city improvement, either library or market - for the moment it doesn't matter.
The towns of Bentley, Donsignia and New London, currently under your jurisdiction, are training horsemen. As CoAF I would like to request that you do not change these projects.
greekguy May 10, 2005, 01:52 PM Thank you, mister governor. ;)
CivGeneral May 10, 2005, 02:43 PM Mayor of New London reporting in.
Furiey May 11, 2005, 07:03 PM Governor Noldodan,
In the absence of instructions for the last turnchat I generally continued the builds that had previously been started. 2 notable exceptions are Skye and Chaos where the high growth levels allowed me to whip some culture. Falls Church has also been partially whipped and is now under 20 turns from building a Temple. You also have 2 new towns to consider, Auchtermutchy which has been liberated from the Dutch and the town of Middelburg (soon to be renamed DNA).
I hope that things are not too far from what you required.
Furiey
mhcarver May 12, 2005, 03:12 PM Honorable Governor.
I request to be named mayor of Falls Church . This is entirely for RPG purposes since I don't have conquest and civassist and my very ancient computer don't get along.
Furiey May 14, 2005, 07:53 AM Governor Noldodan
It looks like we will be revolting to Republic in the preturn of today's session.
At size 7, Roosting Tree will riot in Anarchy, but if we rush a Settler it will reduce the population to size 4 which will allow it to grow again over the Anarchy period. This Settler could be used to repace cities razes in the Indian and French wars.
Chaos is 18 shields from producing a Settler at size 3, we have been rushing Settlers from this city at size 4 which does not take long with it's phenomenal rate of growth. But if we are going to do that we need to do so before Anarchy. Whipping a Settler now would drop it down to size 2, too small to produce a Settler immediately, however it would then grow allowing the Settler to be produced 2 turns later during the Anarchy period.
Please consider these options when producing your instructions.
DaveShack May 16, 2005, 10:39 PM Governor Noldodan,
Several people have noticed your absence from the fora for several days. The court could declare your office vacant, but before doing so I would like to check if this is merely an oversight or if circumstances have intervened and you need a planned absence to be recorded.
Regards, DaveShack
Chief Justice

So it seems he hasn't been posting, but lurking!
Furiey May 17, 2005, 07:25 PM Good to see your instructions Noldodan, I know how difficult lack of time can be, I hope that I did not leave things too different from what you would have done. If you run out of time to post full instructions in the future, you may want to consider some guiding principles that I could use to set the queues.
CivGeneral May 17, 2005, 07:53 PM The Military would like to thank you for your cooperation in the war. I have noticed that there are a few pikes in the queues that would not be neccisary for the inner core, Once thoes units are done, you can build some culture buildings :).
Double Stack May 18, 2005, 02:02 PM Mr Governor, our excellent empire has grown signficantly and many cities are founded or taken in the name of our empire. I request to be mayor of the town of Tracheon. Thank you for your time!
zyxy May 21, 2005, 10:52 AM Mr Governor,
Could you please put some knights in your buildqueues to replace the fallen at the front? 3-4 should be enough for next TC I think.
mhcarver May 21, 2005, 03:28 PM Mr.Governor,
I am still awaiting your deciscion as to wether or not I shall be mayor of Falls Church,
Respectfully yours
Mhcarver
CivGeneral May 21, 2005, 03:36 PM Now what happened to Noldy? This must be the most quietest province I have ever seen.
Double Stack May 22, 2005, 07:48 PM Due to the lack of response, I withdraw my request. I may submit my request in the future should the governor has time to response to requests from other citzens.
zyxy May 23, 2005, 12:03 AM Mr Governor,
I would like to request the training of 5 knights from your province for the next TC.
Please let me know it that is possible.
Bertie May 23, 2005, 09:30 AM Hi Governor,
I'm still awaiting your response to my request for Mayorship of Barchester.
Thanks!
Bertie
CivGeneral May 23, 2005, 03:18 PM Hi Governor,
I'm still awaiting your response to my request for Mayorship of Barchester.
Thanks!
Bertie
I think you might have to wait untill Term 4 for that request to be filled. Unless you PM Noldy.
