Welcome to Term 4 everyone. I am happy to try out my first office. First order of business is to modernize this office, this curtain got to go, this desk is rotten...never mind I do that later.

Greetings Govnah!
Mayor SaaM here. I'd like to request an alteration to the Oxford Queue. Oxford would be much better served if it did not build that calvary. I know the Uni will take aprox. 14 turns at the current rate, but Oxford'll keep growing and will hopefully be able to pump it out sooner.

Thanks

SaaM

Mayor SaaM, I have altered the build queue so that you build the Calvary after completing the University.

I think all the cities east of the Mountain Range and East of the Sea Inlet up north (between Liveratica and Baconopolis) are in your province. So that's quite a lot (but many of them are so corrupt, it's little work).

Camelot, in the 1010 AD save, can be switched from the fish tile to the railroaded wines tile to gain an additional 2 food while still getting 5 commerce. This will allow it to grow.

I will edit more comments if I see any.

Governor,

I notice we have many more military units being built than we have settlers. I would guess we have more than enough military to achieve our goals. Perhaps we're at the stage of the game when we should start pumping out more settlers and culture?

Thanks!

I'd rather focus on a surge of cultural improvements, then settlers. Maybe have atleast a temple and library (perhaps a colleseum) before building settlers.

Offical Fanashire City Instruction for Turnchat 2:

Offical Fanashire Cities:
No_Where: University(6)>Aqueduct
Move worker from SE on ocean to mined tundra (gets University done in 5).
Camelot: Change Calvary to Temple>Cathedral
Move worker from S on Fish to RR wine.
Provolutia: Calvary(3)>Settler>Cathedral

Sebadoh: Bank(7)>Courthouse>Settler

The Black Hole: Calvary(3)>Settler>Temple

Oxford: University(2)>Bank>Cathedral

Blather: Bank(1)>Settler>Courthouse>University

Spichester: Change Calvary to Courthouse>University

Regentham: Change Cannon(3) to University>Cathedral

Kingdom Hearts: Calvary(2)>Settler>Aqueduct>Marketplace

Striders Haven: Change Temple to Aqueduct>Temple>University
Move worker from W to mountain NW of that move it back after the Aqueduct is completed.

Unoffical Fanashire City List:

Since many of these are built and have HIGH corruption, here the following Guideline for the DP. These cities are North of Striders Haven and go up along the mountain range to the East where we conquered cities into our Empire.

All city should be building Library>Temple>Courthouse in that manner.
Any city above 6 should build a settler or worker in between the improvements(note, we want keep city at 7 for unit support.)
After Courthouse complete and the city size is 7 and less, go for Marketplace.
If we get nationalism, change excess food for size 6 and up into Police Specialist. If we get Replacable Parts, change the above into Civil Engineers.
If we get Communism technology, build Police Station after courthouse.
If city completes the above requirement, build Colosseum, Cathedral, University in that order.

Got any questions, comments, suggestions, and or others? Come to my office!

We are due to discover Scientific Method in about sixteen turns. Will/Can the governor have a pre-build ready for TOE to be built?

Note: I asked this in Governor zyxy's office too.

Governor,

To sort out the wonder mess: I suggest that you develop a Theory of Evolution, then I'll get some beavers building that dam* Dam. Of course all under the assumption that our citizenry wants this stuff.

Governor zyxy, I already have a wonder pre build going. I am heading for the ToE. Your province is much better suited for Hoover Dam.

Governor,

Might I suggest a few more settlers might be useful? We're still well below our target of 200 cities.

Thanks!

We're making over 500 culture per turn, so I don't think we need that many cities...

I noticed we don't really need more cities, we just need more cultural buildings and have them built sooner. Chieftess is correct that we made the 500cpt but having more per turn won't hurt.

Therefore, settlers are a very low priority in Fanashire. Our priority is to build any cultural buildings available, produce ACE and pre build for wonders if possible. These are the priority. In the upcoming instructions, we will see more and more ACE as cities that have completed cultural buildings.

Just an increasing momentum to endgame.

500 cpt isn't a particularly good performance, IMO. I do agree with you that adding cultural buildings, in part through rushing, is the priority. It's cheaper, faster, and more effective to build cheap culture (libraries and temples) in the corrupt cities rather than try to build unis everywhere, for example. This means adding more cities. I go into more detail about this IN THIS POST (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=2863753&postcount=4) in zyxy's How Many Cities? thread.

It is this early in the game. ;) 500 cpt is a GREAT performence. That's 1000 culture per turn every 2 turns -- 5,000 culture per turnchat, and, it's still increasing. We still have PLENTY of libraries to build. Some of our core cities don't even have unis and cathedrals yet. Besides, we can always make taxmen (2 gold) out of the corrupt cities to help pay for improvements. (or, revolt to communism).
