You remember my crappy Governments Patch, right? Well, I've made up for it's faultiness.

Introducing... The NES Advisors Patch!

All it does is change the images for every advisor from their average 3-D detailedness into old NES favorites from when you grew up during the late 80s and early 90s! Why listen to a bald man with a wizards cap on when you can see a pixelated Garth from the NES game Wayne's World as your Science Advisor? Why listen to your exaggerated facial expression foreign minister when Old Man from the Legend of Zelda has only one frame altogether, along with broken English. Is your military advisor a guy in a helmet or that fighter from Final Fantasy? With this patch, it's all good, as NES advisors guide your light!

It's all in fun, and you can try it out! No real bugs, but I do need to remake those buttons on the advisor screen to match the NES advisors.

nice, now if you could only use some KOEI graphics for a SNES mod. That way we could have Ghenghis Khan as your military advisor, Someone from Aerobiz as your economy advisor..... etc.

It's not intended to be a serious patch, unlike most of the ones here. I think the people here are too serious about the game, so I took the initiative to do some pointless garbage, because too much seriousness leads to too much stress, and stress sucks. It's all in fun, and if you don't get it, well then, you just don't. Just like my website. If you don't get the humor, well then you don't.

Hey, Gromit, ATARI 2600 ROCKS!!! I think I'll make an Atari 2600 Advisors patch, complete with a pixelated Mr. T's head as a military advisor. I pity da fool who think T's van isn't helluva fast!

ComradeRed, I might do an SNES one as well, but I need to catch up with my SNES knowledge. I've been playing too much NES, Atari 2600, and ColecoVision games to remember half the stuff the SNES has. Dukes Of Hazard for ColecoVision fun!

Fun fact! They've been making Dukes Of Hazard games since the dawn of time.

you're very right about taking things too seriously thatnks for the Garth advisor I dont know what he looks like yet but I would love to see the duke boys in Civ 3
