Any chance of the (PtW) ISDG private forum being made public too? Or, if it has been made so already, where would I find it?

It has been doomed to stay private. Are you enjoying what happened in the C3C game?

The C3C one isn't of enormous interest to me given that I was hardly involved in that game at all. The PTW game interests me because I'd love to know exactly why the diplomatic situation in the early game developed the way it did.

Why are we still hiding that forum? Looking in it, it appears that the poll held on that issue is strongly in favor of releasing it to the public.

I know that I'd love to see it made public. Hey Thunderfall... ;)

I am happy that the forum is still made private. Knowing that it would give fuel to the GCAs to poke fun at us and this site.

ohhhh, I am glad i joined CGN a demogame culture more to my liking, and they do not habitually shoot down my proposals, they work around them without insulting me in the same go. Plus, they are not timid, over-cautious, conventional and unimaginative.

I guess its time to shape up the CFC MSDG community if we want to shake off these bad marks. The MSDG within the CFC community is starting to sound more better and better everyday.

What the hell?

How would it do that? I think your more concerned about your own comments. Don't drag the rest of us into it.

I am not concerned about my own comments, I am mearly conserned that CFC would be a laughing stock to the Civ community and I was not dragging the rest of you into it, shesh..

Good lord, it can't be that bad can it? :ack:

No it's not.

We have nothing to be ashamed of. The fact that almost all of us voted to open it up, shows that.

Actualy, I was supprised myself that TF left it private dispite the polls having a majority. I guess its safe to say that admin are human. I have gave the thing a a long thought and decided that it should be good to put the forum public. At first I admit that I am ashamed of people from from the other teams looking at my comments. But I have gotten over it now and feel that there is no worry of shame. Now if I can only catch TF in the chatroom and ask why the MSDG is still on private ;).

I suspect that once the forum is archived it might be hard to change the private status? I think I read somewhere that this is the case.

Or there was a specific request to keep it private and TF is honoring that request, for which we can't fault him.

Well if that's the case it's a shame, because I imagine it would have made for quite intriguing and enjoyable reading.

It may even encourage more people to take part in the future if they could see what was involved. Would I ever have started to play the Demogame if that forum had been hidden? Probably not, I found it just browsing through and what was happening caught my interest.

I don't even see it, so it must have been deleted :(

You speak too soon Emp. MSDG Forum (http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?f=95). Don't worry, everybody, it's still alive.
