allthough i voted green i agree with what u say, apollo

if you look close to the map you can see that there is only one square in the north to explore.

AFAIK, you can replace an attachment when editing your post. That way you could correct the yellow arrow.

Since our horsemen is already there, might as well get him to go north then come back south to explore the green area. Might reveal fish or whale special sqs which may in turn affect our decision where to place a future city.

Good idea. Although eventually we will have to follow the yellow arrow so perhaps it should just go abit further up and then come down.

there is only one square in the north that can contain a fish, but i think it´s more likely to be empty.

edit: my misstake, the square can´t be seen.

I would say go north, then follow the arrow to explore south. Maybe those square are few, but we could find something interesting : ressources, goodyhut or a city spot. The land might also continue for a while, so we could explore there. In the worst case, there is nothing and we just have to step back south. we would lose 1 or 2 movment point. That's not so bad if we consider we can find many things there.

I think we have to go north. I does appear that the land could end, but their could be one of those Islands on a diagonal to the north that could connect to an entire area. Slim chance I know, but it is possible. Knowing that that flank is relatively secure will come in really handy IMO.
