:) I work for a bank - Sweden's currency is internationally denoted as SEK or Swedish krone (I think) in English. Since this is an English language site, ...... :)

Is krona the native Swedish spelling?

We call it the Krona, and at least British people use the word Krona as well.

Everyone already got the good questions. :(

1. What is the name of Sweden's capitol?

Stockholm. (The person who had my office at work before me was a Swede, and she left a huge poster of Stockholm.)

2. How many people live there?

??? I'll guess: 1 million

3. Which countries border Sweden?

Finland, Norway - and if we include sea borders, Denmark.

4. What is the name of our Prime Minister?

Well I know it isn't Olaf Palme...

5. What is the Swedish government called?

Depends, by whom? ;) It's a monarchy, technically a constitutional monarchy.

6. Which Swedish King faught with the Turks?

Karl XII, the bastard....

7. Which King unified Sweden and threw out the Catholics?

Do you mean Gustav Eriksson I (Vasa) from the early 16th century? I know there was a minor Catholic revival in Sweden in the 1570s and early 80s before the final split between the Catholic and Protestant Vasas.

8. What is the name of the Swedish currency?

Krona/Crown.
