What level do you use when you play against the computer?

I'm a monarch ... looking forward to this experience. I'm sure to learn strats which will help in my pbems

Im on regent. Have been planing moving up for over 2 months now, but im comfortable where i am.

Monarch... I have won a game or two on Emperor...

Won multiple games at DG, trying to move up to Diety

I've been playing for years - on Monarch. Never really thought anyone actually played the higher levels until I joined this board. Now I'm trying to improve my skills. I've started playing Regent lately, (with some success Diplomatically and Culturally), but I haven't tried higher yet.

Hmm - looks like I am the first one who voted for deity... I can usually win on deity with a decent start. I have won a couple games on Sid with a "Hall of Fame" type start... but of course those were all against AI only, and I have no multiplayer experience.

Monarch is my normal level of playing.

People that play the Hall of Fame use a utility(called MapStat IRIC) this constantly reloads the game until a desirable save is found, it may take days to find a good save... These are saves that have like 2 luxes, 3 cows, a river, etc in the starting area

I mostly play on Monarch - but really - most of my games of been PBEM with another buddy of mine. We're now playing on Emp... but I haven't won yet!

I normally play Monarch cos I am not very anal about being good at Civ. But I have beaten the game many times at Emperor. This has always been with a civ of my choice. The Greeks included.
