classical_hero Jul 30, 2005, 03:43 AM I have founded Athens on the gold.
classical_hero Jul 30, 2005, 03:46 AM Here is the tech tree with the first two tech we have decided on researching.
classical_hero Jul 30, 2005, 03:54 AM It looks like that settling on the forest to the east of us was the best site. Have a look at the attached image and you will see why. C'est la vie.
azzaman333 Jul 30, 2005, 04:16 AM we can possibly use that fish for another city
classical_hero Jul 30, 2005, 04:20 AM we can possibly use that fish for another city
Imagine having a city with six bouns resources and a lux. That would be stuff dreams are made of. Anyway this thread is only for Sav Info, so this is not the thread to be talking about that here.
Black_Hole Jul 30, 2005, 09:31 AM c_h, make sure to rename the save, you sent MTDG001_TNT to team K.I.S.S, once you finish you should have renamed it MTDG001_MIA
ybbor Jul 30, 2005, 10:14 AM can you post a screenshot including the minimap?
EDIT: nevermind! the patch installation worked!I can look at the save!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!! Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
classical_hero Jul 30, 2005, 10:43 AM c_h, make sure to rename the save, you sent MTDG001_TNT to team K.I.S.S, once you finish you should have renamed it MTDG001_MIA
At first I did that. Then I realised I forgot to send the save to the Admins also, so when I was sending them the save, I realised the error, and sent the correct save to the team and Admins.
Kentharu Jul 31, 2005, 07:32 AM could you post a screen shot with the mini map anyway
because i can't download the save
classical_hero Jul 31, 2005, 08:12 AM I will do that next turn.
classical_hero Aug 01, 2005, 05:16 AM I have started to connect the Ivory. We will get a warrior and connection to ivory in the same turn. Here is the mini map as requested. We need to get started on what will be our next unit. That is for domestic.
azzaman333 Aug 01, 2005, 05:33 AM We need to get started on what will be our next unit. That is for domestic.
Isnt that military's job or am i just randomly making s*** up?
BigNHuge Aug 01, 2005, 08:12 AM By the look of the mini map, we could all control a "corner" of the world.
peter grimes Aug 01, 2005, 10:22 AM Do we know if the world is indeed Continents, 70% land?
Unit order seems pretty good to me.
I love the exploratory phase!
peter grimes Aug 01, 2005, 06:10 PM 1) The President shall be the designated player; meaning he plays the save.
When playing the save he has the responsibility to carry out the decisions of
other leaders. He is responsible for workers, city management, and powers
and responsibilities not specified to other leaders.
[lac.]
3) The Domestic Minister shall be responsible for settlement, sliders,
research, wonders, and government changes, and all duties and powers
affecting the economy not specified to other leaders.
4) The Defence Minister is responsible for all military units. He is
responsible for the building, upgrading and the placement of units.
As I read this, Defense submits suggestions as to unit production, as may Domestic. Final city management decision is up to President. Of course, the President may have just delegated the [unit production] responsibility to Domestic:

Black_Hole Aug 02, 2005, 09:42 AM This is not a discussion thread!
classical_hero Aug 03, 2005, 11:11 AM Thanks B_H. Look at the score. We are the leaders in the score. That is because we are connected to a lux and get extra score for that happy person.
classical_hero Aug 03, 2005, 11:18 AM We will have built our first unit next turn. Here is the build queue that i have for Athens.
classical_hero Aug 04, 2005, 07:53 AM We have built our first unit. :bounce:
classical_hero Aug 04, 2005, 07:55 AM I have started the exploration. The warrior is going NW just as the Defence Minister wants.
Chamnix Aug 04, 2005, 09:00 AM Just an FYI - when exploring it is better to go N, S, E, or W than NW, NE, SE, SW becuase of the way the tiles are set up. We can explore to the NW, but it is best to get there by going N 1 turn then W the next instead of NW twice - we will uncover more tiles that way. ;)
ybbor Aug 05, 2005, 11:30 AM CH is out and made me temp. DP (which as you are about to find out was a bad idea ;) my laptop doesn't like me or my other computer :p)
my computer hates me. it took forever to find a way to get the save running. I moved our explorer NW (we still uncover 3 tiles), and he encountered a goody hut. we have 44 all hte other teams have 41. I had to use paint, and save it strangly to fit on the floopy, because of this you may see an inverse image. who knows. I started irrigating the cow (although in the pic i'm roading it because i was having troubles getting it onto the floopy and had to boot it up a 2nd time [after i already sent it to K.I.S.S. don't worry i didn't change anything, it's being irrigated in the one that counts], and accidently roaded it) .
EDIT: great, the colors got screwed with, if someone can post what it actually looks like please? the goody hut is directly NW of the warrior. to his north is floodplains, and to his west is forest. NW-NW of him looks like forest
EDIT2: do i always ramble like that? :p
fe3333au Aug 05, 2005, 11:58 AM Here is the screenie
http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads10/Zippo6.JPG
ybbor Aug 05, 2005, 12:26 PM thank you for that
classical_hero Aug 05, 2005, 12:56 PM Make sure that all pictures are attached. This way they can only be seen by us. Lining images can be seen by anyone, especiallly putting them on Civfanatics upload system should be a nono, especially when you have info about our starting position.
fe3333au Aug 05, 2005, 01:04 PM That's why I called the file 'Zippo6' ;)
ybbor Aug 05, 2005, 01:06 PM That's why I called the file 'Zippo6' ;)
they can still see it, they just don't know what it is.

It is still best to attach.
fe3333au Aug 05, 2005, 01:20 PM Ummm ... so do you want me to remove and then attach ... or is it ok to stay so long that we don't repeat what I did ...
classical_hero Aug 05, 2005, 01:25 PM It is too late now, just remember that in the future.
BigNHuge Aug 05, 2005, 07:04 PM Dang, that happiness really boosted our score. Im sure glad we got elephants in the outskirts of our town, we can send enemies to be trampled! :)
CivGeneral Aug 07, 2005, 03:34 PM By the looks of things, and I personaly dont want to risk a barbarian horde from poping the hut. The warrior should head in a westerly direction.
ainwood Aug 07, 2005, 03:40 PM Ummm ... so do you want me to remove and then attach ... or is it ok to stay so long that we don't repeat what I did ...
If its a real concern, then PM Thunderfall and ask him to remove it from the upload server - he's the only one who can do that.
fe3333au Aug 08, 2005, 01:31 AM Thanks Ainwood ... don't think it is a problem (just an oversight caused by over zealous enthusiasm  )... and I would have contacted Thunderfall to do just that
classical_hero Aug 09, 2005, 08:22 AM More exploring. We have found another floodplain with wheat. We are in very fertile land.
CivGeneral Aug 10, 2005, 07:39 PM Good good, Now since well be poping another warrior. I do beleve that this one should explore in the westerly direction :). The northern warrior shall continue exploring in the northwesterly direction.
BigNHuge Aug 10, 2005, 07:45 PM Great news on the flood plain up north. We could get some good food producing cites in our main core. But, its still gonna be an awesome challenge as we have to assume that the other nations have just as nice starts as we have. I would assume everyone will have Ivory soon because everyone should have an equal chance at SoZ.

SoZ doesn't require ivory in this game
classical_hero Aug 11, 2005, 08:14 AM The next turn we will expand. :D
classical_hero Aug 11, 2005, 11:45 PM We have expanded out culture.
classical_hero Aug 11, 2005, 11:49 PM I have adjusted the slider so that Athens will not revolt in one turn. IW was at 17 turns but is now at 20 as you can see.
classical_hero Aug 11, 2005, 11:59 PM Here are the citizens of Athen before and after the slider change
ybbor Aug 12, 2005, 08:46 AM you didn't need to do that. the luxury made that one guy happy, so it would have balanced
BigNHuge Aug 12, 2005, 10:47 AM SoZ doesn't require ivory in this game
Oh yeah, Im so used to it the regular way, I just forgot. :P
General_W Aug 12, 2005, 03:52 PM you didn't need to do that. the luxury made that one guy happy, so it would have balanced
But it was one happy & one angry before the adjustment - so without the Lux slider, it would have been 1 happy, 2 angry = revolt as soon as the city grows. (Or am I missing something?)
Also - what's the rule on posting screenshots? Would it be a violation of the "no re-taking turns" rule for me to download the newest turn, look around and take some screenshots before CH officially takes our turn? (because CH may move units differently than I did - I don't want to do anything that could be mis-construed as trying multiple options.)
Thanks for the help!
Viva Greece! Viva MIA!
fe3333au Aug 12, 2005, 05:00 PM No violation ... it is what I am doing in the Looking Glass thread ... all the info and screenies that I post there is info prior to the turn being taken by Prez ... he will then post anything he feels is relivant or specifically requested ... however I am assuming that 'looking around' is just going through all the F options and NOT moving the units on the map.
General_W Aug 12, 2005, 05:19 PM Ok - thanks fe3333au, so far you and Classical Hero are doing a great job of putting out plenty of screenshots - I just want to avoid any mistakes for future refrence. I'll make sure to not move anything when I'm looking at the saves - I'll leave that to our most excellent leader.
:worship: :king:
classical_hero Aug 13, 2005, 05:35 AM you didn't need to do that. the luxury made that one guy happy, so it would have balanced
I needed to change the lux to 10% because we would have had one happy and two unhappy and that equals revolt. You can have allok the save to see what would happen if I did not need to change the lux slider. In four turns we will grow and and then get our first settler, so AZZAMAN, PLEASE SET UP THAT POLL. Once again I will need to adjust the Lux slider again so that we do not lose a turn to revolt.
Chamnix Aug 13, 2005, 11:04 AM Is multiplayer different from single-player? In single player you get 1 turn "grace period" before revolt. If you end your turn with 1 happy and 1 unhappy, the town will not revolt even if it grows - you will start your next turn with 1 happy and 2 unhappy, but the disorder will not begin unless you do not fix it before the end of your next turn. In single player, you would definitely not have to increase luxuries until the turn after growth.
You can have allok the save to see what would happen if I did not need to change the lux slider.
I tried doing this to see if there was actually a difference in multiplayer, but how can I see the result?

From my experience in SP an MP games that there is no period of grace when cities revolt. This always happen when the city grows. The happiness effect is still the same because it is stil a game of civ, just between humans and not the computer.

no, there's a grace period, you just don't realize because when you zoom into the city to fix it, the revolt happens before the excess food goes into the box
classical_hero Aug 13, 2005, 01:15 PM It is still better safe than sorry.
CivGeneral Aug 13, 2005, 04:03 PM Have the northern most warrior head to the hills 2 tiles to the west
Have the southern most warrior head to the hills northeast of us.
Also, consider having another warrior in the queue :).
classical_hero Aug 14, 2005, 10:20 AM I have found out in a PBEM that i am playing that you do have a period of grace of one tunr because they revolt.
Rambuchan Aug 18, 2005, 01:50 PM Just balance the happy / unhappy faces so that we can make max cash and science and avoid the revolt. Just the minimum to keep us ticking over. We don't need no WLTKDs, nor do we need to spend needlessly on keeping our citizens happy. They are not there to be happy but for our glory :whipped:
classical_hero Aug 18, 2005, 04:09 PM have a look at the Top five cities. Tem doughnut have already built second city.
classical_hero Aug 18, 2005, 04:12 PM We will get a settler in the next turn. :D [party]
ybbor Aug 18, 2005, 04:51 PM We will get a settler in the next turn. :D [party]
and because we grow the same turn the other teams think w built a worker
classical_hero Aug 18, 2005, 04:55 PM and because we grow the same turn the other teams think w built a worker
So true. But we will have a few cities up soon.
BigNHuge Aug 18, 2005, 06:27 PM Is there a chance they popped a town from a goody hut? Or was this nullified from the changes?
Rik Meleet Aug 18, 2005, 06:36 PM Is there a chance they popped a town from a goody hut? Or was this nullified from the changes?I did not change any rules, except the ones I was requested to change -Statue of Zeus does not need Ivory and costs 300 shields, instead of 200 shields- and I saw it neccesary to change the luxury wines.
Wine was changed from 1 food + 1 commerce to 2 commerce and 0 food. See here (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=125956).
That means: Popping a settler / city can still happen, AFAIK.
classical_hero Aug 19, 2005, 12:13 AM Is there a chance they popped a town from a goody hut? Or was this nullified from the changes?
By the looks of it, they do no have as many warriors that we do, so they were able to build a settler quicker.
classical_hero Aug 19, 2005, 10:10 AM Look at what have got. :D I also adjusted the lux slider so that it is back to max science so that we can get Iron working faster. It now takes two turns less than before.
classical_hero Aug 19, 2005, 10:16 AM Warrior movement. The northern warrior has been moved to the mountain range. This should give us a good view of the surrounding terrain.
classical_hero Aug 19, 2005, 10:18 AM We have another ivory. This is also another good city location for the future. I am moving the settler to the winning position of the first city poll.
Rambuchan Aug 19, 2005, 11:36 AM Good stuff Hero. We've learned more about the good terrain around us. We all decided well on the moves. :)
classical_hero Aug 20, 2005, 09:18 AM Look at what our western Warrior has found.
classical_hero Aug 21, 2005, 01:30 AM I popped the hut and out came some nasty barabarians, sounds just like what you do to a pimple. :vomit:
fe3333au Aug 21, 2005, 04:33 AM By the power of Meleet ... our Warrior shall survive ... it is the time for his mettle to be tested ... a forging in blood
Rambuchan Aug 21, 2005, 01:51 PM Errr I hope he gets a promotion or two out of this, and lives to tell the tale .
ybbor Aug 21, 2005, 02:52 PM wait, did they attack; fortify, what?
classical_hero Aug 22, 2005, 08:10 AM We have founded our second city. It is not named yet, but will be very soon.
classical_hero Aug 22, 2005, 08:13 AM Here is what the battle between our brave warrior and the barbs.
2/2 barb warrior vs 3/3 warrior, dead barb, 2/3 warrior.
Rambuchan Aug 23, 2005, 08:49 AM Nice one on the second city! I can't wait to get a city with all that tobacco. I can smell the cash already.
As for the warrior, how about crossing the river and healing there, then coming back to bash them?
classical_hero Aug 23, 2005, 09:17 AM He was fortified before I sent on the save.
fe3333au Aug 23, 2005, 09:37 AM I say move him to the hills to get terrain bonus and we also get a view
General_W Aug 23, 2005, 10:20 AM This may already be irrelevant by the time I write it, but just in case...
(and for future reference)
It seems like it'd be better to fortify and heal the warrior - than it is to move to the hills.
Hills offer 50% bonus, so we'd have 2 hit points at =+50% (= 3)
If we fortify, then we get 3 hit points at +25% (= 3.75)
Unless I'm missing something?
Of course, running like a scared rabbit to the other side of the river is also a possibility.
However, if I understand C_H's comment - he's already fortified, so this is a moot discussion. Once our warrior is healed - I 100% support moving onto the hill.
classical_hero Aug 23, 2005, 10:23 AM That will happen if the warrior has not been attacked and lost some hitpoints.
General_W Aug 25, 2005, 04:56 PM Had a request to put some screenshots in this thread as well.
So here's one, using my new non-civfanatics image hosting.

Please let me know if you have any trouble!
General_W Sep 07, 2005, 10:27 AM Classical Hero made a good point (in the "State of the Empire" thread) – even better as I've thought about it more.
I'm not sure why I didn't use this thread to post my updates from the beginning… (everyone was posting their "term 2" threads – and I just climbed on that band wagon!)
Anyway, per C_H's comments, I will now be posting my updates here.
(I will still continue posting them in my "State of the Empire" thread – so that my whole term is all in one place, if anyone needs to look at the history.)
Final note: For the remainder of my term – please post any discussion about what to do with workers or citizens in the Domestic thread.
Feel free to post any comments or questions about the save information here.
Hopefully that's not confusing.

State of the Empire
Presidential Update
Turn: 30
Year: 2600 BC
Friends, Greeks, Fellow MIAers… the state of our Empire is: Exploring!
Headlines:
Incense and Spices Discovered in the North.
Major Deal Negotiated with Celts(KISS). KISS finalization expected next turn.
First Curragh, “The Snarling Narwhal” Sets Sail for the Unknown East!
Domestic Summary:
We have 3 cities, 10 gold, and 39 culture.
We are set at 90% science, 10% Luxury, and 0% Economy – for a Net gain of 0 gold per turn.
We are currently building:
Athens: Warrior (done in 3 turns). *Growth last turn
Black Hole: Worker (done in 4 turns)
Heron: Curragh (done in 5 turns)
Note: Athens citizen placement was stupid oversight on my part. Discussion on how to fix this is currently underway in the Domestic department.
Our cities are working 9 tiles – 3 of which are unimproved.
We have two workers:
Worker – Rambuchan: Mining the BG east of Athens. Finished this turn, can move next turn.
Worker - Jarom: Mining the BG west of Athens. ETA: 3 turns
Research: Continued work on the Wheel. Est time: 3 turns
Military Summary:
We have 4 military units:
3 Warriors
1 Curragh
We have explored 216 tiles – 6.8% of the world.
85.5% of our exploration has been on land – the rest is coastal.
We have 2 Assyrian warriors lurking in the north. Our warrior can not see them
Military advisor warns of Barbarians near Black Hole.
Our Warrior-Ligurian Reaper is exploring along the Ivory Coast – a bit inland – he has encountered a Celtic (KISS) Warrior – the KISS warrior apparently followed us, instead of moving towards are cities.
This warrior discovered a supply of incense!
Our Warrior-Assyrian Bane has moved onto a mountain, and revealed much terrain. Most notably:
A supply of Spices!
A goody hut!
We have an Iroquois (Doughnut) Curragh off the coast of Athens.
We have a Celt (KISS) warrior near our Warrior-Ligurian Reaper
Battles:
None
Current Plans in Motion:
Unless otherwise instructed…
I plan to move our Athenian Citizen to the Forest tile like he was supposed to.
I plan to build a warrior – then a settler in Athens.
I plan to try poping the hut with our Warrior-Assyrian Bane.
I plan to move onto the hill to the west with our Warrior–Ligurian Reaper
I plan to leave our 3rd warrior in Black Hole for Military Police duties until the worker is completed – or we get a road connected.
Request for Action:
Ministers! Please give me your orders for the next turn in the “Instructions for the President” thread!
Foreign Ministry: Any orders for the Doughnuts?
(hopefully the "accept-send" I did was ok. turn was played before your post Fe)
Domestic Ministry: How will we deal with my mistake on the Athenian Citizen? (again, so so sorry) I've posted some comments on dealing with this in the domestic thread.
Should Worker-Rambuchan begin roading to Black Hole next turn?
Defense Ministry: Should we pop that northern Hut with Warrior-Assyrian Bane?
Is the move to the hill the best one for Warrior-Ligurian Reaper?
Anything else I’ve missed?
Until next time,
I remain your faithful servant,
President General W

State of the Empire
Presidential Update
Turn: 31
Year: 2560 BC
Friends, Greeks, Fellow MIAers… the state of our Empire is: Busy!
Headlines:
Sarmatian Warriors Swarm in the North! Assyrian Bane division stands ready to defend.
Scientists Rejoice over Acquisition of the Secrets of Warrior Code and Ceremonial Burial. Deal with KISS comes through.
Citizens Across the Empire Celebrate the Raising of the Luxury Rate!
Domestic Summary:
We have 3 cities, 11 gold, and 41 culture.
We are set at 80% science, 20% Luxury, and 0% Economy – for a Net gain of 1 gold per turn.
(KISS income of 1 gold per turn)
* I knew we would need to raise Lux to 20% to control populace in Athens when it grows without a warrior there for MP duties… so I opened the domestic window – and discovered that (because we’re no longer working the ivory tile) we’ll get the wheel in 3 turns at 80 or 90%. Sending the extra 10% to treasury only netted us 2 extra gpt – while going 20% Lux allows me to get our 3rd warrior off MP duty and out exploring. So I went with raising in the Lux rate a little early. Discussion?
We are currently building:
Athens: Settler (done in 6 turns).
Black Hole: Worker (done in 2 turns)
Heron: Curragh (done in 3 turns)
Our cities are working 9 tiles – 3 of which are unimproved.
Citizens are working these tiles:
Athens: R.I. Wheat / R. I. Cow / M. Bonus Grassland
Black Hole: Wheat / Forest
Heron: Bonus Grassland (about to be mined by Rambuchan)
We have two workers:
Worker - Jarom: Moved into position to begin roading desert on way to Black Hole
Worker – Rambuchan: Mining the BG west of Athens. ETA: 2 turns
Research: Continued work on the Wheel. Est time: 3 turns
Military Summary:
We have 4 military units:
3 Warriors:
Assyrian Bane – Veteran
Ligurian Reapers – Regular
TBA – Regular
1 Curragh:
The Snarling Narwhal

Our Warrior-Ligurian Reaper has discovered another Hut along the Ivory Coast – and more Ivory!
Current Plans in Motion:
Unless otherwise instructed…
I plan to keep all cities building and working tiles as they currently are.
I plan to head east to the hill with our TBA Warrior from Black Hole.
I plan to try poping the hut with our Warrior-Ligurian Reapers along the Ivory Coast.
I plan to heal (if wounded) with our Warrior-Assyrian Bane
Request for Action:
Ministers! Please give me your orders for the next turn in the “Instructions for the President” thread!
Foreign Ministry: Any orders for the Doughnuts?
Keep easterly heading with the Curragh?
Domestic Ministry: What do you think of the 20% Luxury plan? Should I send the Black Hole Warrior back and get the 2 gpt while I can (before Athens grows?)
What should worker-Rambuchan do when done mining the BG between Athens and Heron?
Defense Ministry: Should we pop that Ivory Coast Hut with Warrior-Ligurian Reapers?
Anything else I’ve missed?
Until next time,
I remain your faithful servant,
President General W

General_W Sep 10, 2005, 09:05 AM I have turn 32 sitting in my mailbox - but I'm not going to open or play it until we decide what we are going to do with Team Doughnuts.
I believe Fe3333au has updated the Looking Glass for the start of turn 32... but I don't think he included any screenshots. I'll have a whole slew of new ones for you today - once I get orders on dealing with the D'nuts!

State of the Empire
Presidential Update
Turn: 32
Year: 2520 BC
Friends, Greeks, Fellow MIAers… the state of our Empire is: Late!
Headlines:
President says Athenian citizens are Rebels – refuse to work tiles they are assigned too!
Citizens of Athens claim President is a moron.
No Deal with the Doughnuts! Talks collapse amid unreasonable demands.
Domestic Summary:
We have 3 cities, 12 gold, and 43 culture.
We are set at 60% science, 20% Luxury, and 20% Economy – for a Net gain of 4 gold per turn.
(KISS income of 1 gold per turn)
* Due to working the Ivory a turn longer than necessary (or is that 2 turns longer than necessary now?) I can lower the science rate to 60% and still get The Wheel in 2 turns. (raising it to 100% wouldn’t get it any faster than 2 turns)
We are currently building:
Athens: Settler (done in 5 turns).
Black Hole: Worker (done next turn)
Heron: Curragh (done next turn)
Our cities are working 9 tiles – 2 of which are unimproved.
Citizens are working these tiles:
Athens: R.I. Wheat / R. I. Cow / M. Bonus Grassland *for real - I hope!
Black Hole: Wheat / Forest
Heron: M. Bonus Grassland
We have two workers:
Worker - Jarom: Began roading desert on way to Black Hole
Worker – Rambuchan: Finished Mining the BG west of Athens. Can start road next turn.
Research: Continued work on the Wheel. Est time: 2 turns
Military Summary:
We have 4 military units:
3 Warriors:
Warrior - Assyrian Bane – Veteran
Warrior - Ligurian Reapers – Regular
Ares Warrior - Butes – Regular
1 Curragh:
The Snarling Narwhal
Known Enemies:
We are surrounded by 2 Sarmation warriors in the north. They were poped from the hut.
We have 2 Assyrian warriors lurking in the north. Our warrior can not see them.
Military advisor warns of Barbarians near Black Hole.
Celt (KISS) warrior is lurking along our Ivory Coast
Iroquois (D’nut) Curragh is sailing west off the coast of Heron.
Battles:
It appears we may have been attacked by one of the Sarmation warriors. We were unharmed.
Exploration Update:
We have explored 269 tiles – 8.4% of the world.
81.8% of our exploration has been on land – the rest is coastal.
Our Ares Warrior- Butes had discovered a hut North of the hill that is NE of Black Hole.
Current Plans in Motion:
Unless otherwise instructed…
I plan to keep all cities building and working tiles as they currently are.
I plan to head back into Black Hole with our Ares Warrior – Butes.
I plan to try poping the hut with our Warrior-Ligurian Reapers along the Ivory Coast.
I plan to keep heading North with our Warrior-Assyrian Bane
Request for Action:
Ministers! Please give me your orders for the next turn in the “Instructions for the President” thread!
Foreign Ministry: Any orders for the Doughnuts? For KISS?
Keep easterly heading with the Curragh?
Domestic Ministry: Somehow (why oh why oh why?!??) our worker did not get moved. I can’t tell you how exasperated I am. (probably almost as much as all of you are!) I double checked, even made a screenshot (which shows it correctly) – so who knows what I did. Bottom line – what do we do now? We’re gonna build our settler on schedule, but be 1 food short of growing on time. Time to get out the spreadsheets again.
What do we want to build next in Heron?
What do we want to build next in Black Hole?
Defense Ministry: Should we still head back to Black Hole with our Ares Warrior - Butes? Seems like poping the hut is pretty risky with our unguarded city right there/
Anything else I’ve missed?
Until next time,
I remain your faithful servant,
President General W

So Regarding the possible spoiler info I posted on that tech thread....
After I removed the image, I PMed it to RegentMan so he could see exactly what we're talking about.
Here's the response I got:
Thank you for the prompt contact; ybbor did PM me. Ginger_Ale and I are currently discussing about it, so expect a decision soon. I'm glad Team M.I.A. follows the accidental espionage rule so well!
Way to go team MIA!
Thanks Ybbor for pointing it out first!

Research: Continued work on Mysticism. Est time: 5 turns
We are currently building:
Athens: Granary (done in 11 turns)
Black Hole: Worker (done in 2 turns)
Heron: Warrior (done in 4 turns) *Worker built last turn
Our cities are working 9 tiles – 1 of which is unimproved.
Citizens are working these tiles:

Black Hole: Wheat / R Bonus Grassland
Heron: R. M. Bonus Grassland
We have four workers:
Worker - Jarom: Chopping Forest N. of Athens (ETC: 2 turns)
Worker – Rambuchan: Chopping forest W. of Athens (ETC: 3 turns)
Worker – Imnzerg: Moved to Wheat by Black Hole. (can take new orders next turn)
Worker – M4 Sherman: Moved to BG N. of Heron. (Can take orders next turn)
Military Summary:
We have 5 military units:
3 Warriors:
Warrior - Assyrian Bane – Veteran
Warrior - Ligurian Reapers – Regular
Ares Warrior - Butes – Regular
2 Curraghs:
The Snarling Narwhal - Regular
The Trusty Guppy - Regular
Our Military Advisor reports we are:
Compared to KISS: Average
Compared to D’nuts: Average
Known Enemies:
Celt (KISS) warrior is spotted north of Black Hole. He is wounded and maybe heading for an un-poped hut?
Iroquois (D’nut) Curragh is sailing west off the Ivory Coast.
We have 2 Assyrian Barbarians from the hut in the north/west. Only 1 is currently visible. 1 is just out of sight to the south of our Warrior Ligurian Reapers.
Battles:
Maybe Ligurian Reapers survived a barbarian attack? No damage and no promotion.
Exploration Update:
No percentages until I get the correct version of CivAssist installed.
Our Curragh – Snarling Narwhal made it to the New World in the East.
Current Plans in Motion:
Unless otherwise instructed…
I plan to keep all cities building and working tiles as they currently are.
I plan to head out of Black Hole with our Ares Warrior – Butes to escort ahead of our Settler.
I plan to avoid the Assyrian Barbs in the North-West with our Warrior-Ligurian Reapers if possible.
I plan to keep heading North with our Warrior-Assyrian Bane.
I pan to head North with the Snarling Narwhal
Request for Action:
Ministers! Please give me your orders for the next turn in the “Instructions for the President” thread!
Foreign Ministry:
Any orders for the Doughnuts? For KISS?
I’m worried about that KISS warrior poping barbs from that hut North of Black hole… any diplomatic way we could ask them to please not do that?
Domestic Ministry:
What should we do first with our worker - Imnzerg? Road or irrigate the Wheat?
Should our new Worker – M4 Sherman road the BG first?
Defense Ministry:
North or South with the Snarling Narwhale? I received no explicit orders, and went with North – but it’s not too late to change if you wish.
Any plans if the KISS warrior does pop barbs from that hut North of Black hole?
I’m sorry I didn’t see you orders on where to move the Ligurian Reapers until after I had played the save. (I played the save immediately after my post saying I would do so) Please take this as a gentle reminder to not delay in posting orders here for me. (or the future DP) – I assumed there was not going to be anything from you. (In retrospect, of course, the jungle move may have been wiser – but I wasn’t that worried about just one barb and opted for exploration)
Anything else I’ve missed?
Until next time,
I remain your faithful servant,
President General W
