Considering different people have different needs, i think we should have an idea of how many people need screenshots to function, and how important it is to get them in a timely manner

Personally, I have no idea how often. either once every 2-3 turns, or never, depending on how my attmept at patch installation goes. I don't have an an internet-acessible [c3c] computer. I voted never just to be on the safe side

I will look every turn and have a computer with net and [c3c] access.

I voted for the 2-3 turns ...
However what I meant by this was I would expect a screenie when something has been discovered and input from the team is needed ... map explorartion, potential city sites when ready to send a settler, barb camps, goody huts, etc.

Anything else can be relayed in a printed report ie. city status, tradable items, etc.

So don't send sceenies unless necessary ...

Will the screenshots be jpeg files? If so, I'd love access to any and all screenshots. I'm on an imac, so there is no multiplayer version of Civ3 for me. However, I wonder if a .sav file will load anyway?

I voted Never and No Internet No Civ3

I'm so green with envy I'm moldy.... I wish the .sav could be read by the Mac version.

Someone needs to make a way to convert the sav files between different versions... but I guess we wont be seeing that before civ4.

In the meanwhile, I'm off to get the save.

I'm very unlikely to DL the save game, maybe once in a month, although I have a comp to do it on (missed my second vote sorry).

I'd much rather have a well run, up-to-date thread with screenies.

Good news! I got a new computer for Christmas! in addition to getting [civ4] (:yeah:) a router has been hooked up, so I can now download the save without any trouble!

Congratulations! We are thinking about getting a new compy as well - but it will still be a mac. Have fun with cIV... my boss put it on his work computer, so I've toyed around with it a little.

I have heard news that they are going to bring out [c3c] for Mac soon, what has happened with that?

I've heard there is no release date yet, but I've not checked in a couple of weeks.
