Here is my Residence. That is still under construction, so we can not move there yet.
Here is where the President works. That is also under construction
This is the thread where you can make requests and suggestions for the President to make.
My philosphy will soon be stated.
Fallensmith Jul 29, 2005, 05:31 PM The save is upon us, Mr. President :P
RegentMan Jul 30, 2005, 02:12 AM I might have to set up my summer home here. Your first lady is quite :groucho: . I wouldn't mind being M.I.A. with her... ;)
classical_hero Jul 30, 2005, 04:45 AM First order of business. The worker will get us connected to the ivory that is right by us, then he will go to cow and road and mine it.
Chamnix Jul 30, 2005, 06:11 AM From the save thread, it looks like the cow is giving 2 shields already so it is on bonus grassland. Mining it will not give any advantage in despotism so it so be irrigated instead of mined.

Thanks for that. Irrigating it will also be lost, since we are in despotism. So I will only road it and then move to the bonus grassland next to it and road and mine that.
Meleager Jul 30, 2005, 05:36 PM No irrigating it wont be lost scince it is alread over the 3 food limit.

thats correct, in despotism you only lose 1 food for tiles making more than 2, so if its already at 3 that means its really at 4 and can go higher
Meleager Aug 03, 2005, 06:41 PM It seems that we failed to post in the turn tracker thread in the UN forum.
classical_hero Aug 04, 2005, 07:12 AM I know. See my post in the thread that I made after this save/
classical_hero Aug 13, 2005, 05:16 AM All worker help can be posted here. If you have a sugestion for that, then post here because any help is handy.
fe3333au Aug 13, 2005, 07:01 AM I have a zoomed out map posted in the Looking Glass if that helps and have left some messages for Azza ...
EDIT - I have looked at map ... and unless someone comes up with a better idea, how about building a road on the wheat (due north of capital) my reasoning is that since we a toiling on that tile, we may as well get more gold doing it ...
EDIT 2 - See attached map
Question: where are warriors going ?
I would like ...
Warrior 1 -> C then onto Hill better view
Warrior 2 -> D then onto Hill better view
Worker -> B then Road and Irrigate (in that order)
azzaman333 Aug 13, 2005, 08:58 AM Fe, could you give me a clean version of that map, i cant use civ 3 ATM.

You should get in the habit of visiting the Looking Glass thread ... the first 5 posts are updated info on our team and what we know of the others ...
The last posts on that thread would contain information, data changes and is also where Screenie (before the turn is taken) Shots are posted
I have the above image without scribblings and also earlier a close up of area around Athens
Chamnix Aug 13, 2005, 11:10 AM I would like ...
Warrior 1 -> C then onto Hill better view
Warrior 2 -> D then onto Hill better view
Worker -> B then Road and Irrigate (in that order)
I think the worker should irrigate then road the wheat. The irrigated wheat plus the irrigated cow means we get +7fpt in Athens which means growth every 3 turns. The extra food is much more important than the extra gold right now.
I would still like to see warrior 1 go to the wheat to protect the worker so we can pop the huts.
I agree with warrior 2.
classical_hero Aug 13, 2005, 12:22 PM So basically Athens should just pump out settlers as quick as we can. Is that the general feeling.
fe3333au Aug 13, 2005, 01:20 PM No we want a settler factory up north ... I think we really need a naval unit asap
classical_hero Aug 13, 2005, 01:34 PM No we want a settler factory up north ... I think we really need a naval unit asap
I thought that would become a worker factory.
fe3333au Aug 13, 2005, 02:03 PM Not my decision ... just thinking about exploration ... there are 2 continents and 57.5% water 80x80 tiles ... also when the northern wheat tile is irrigated the rate of pop growth will increase ...
So if our capital does become a settler factory then I urge the Domestic Minister to get another coastal city happening maybe one that will grab the other ivory to the west
CivGeneral Aug 13, 2005, 03:54 PM Question: where are warriors going ?
I would like ...
Warrior 1 -> C then onto Hill better view
Warrior 2 -> D then onto Hill better view
*Ahem!*
I beleve thoes suggestions could have been posted in the military thread :p.
Edit: I answered the warriors question in the miliary thread.
fe3333au Aug 13, 2005, 04:17 PM Sorry about that Mr. Defence Minister, I posted a map so that people could 'see' the worker options and because your warriors smiled and posed for the picture ... I commented on them here as well ...

I hope they did not mooned you, otherwise I would have to have a little chat with them ;).
Emp.Napoleon Aug 17, 2005, 10:03 PM May I request that the turns be played in there own threads. We did this for the ISDG and it worked very well. What we could do is make a thread for the turn when it comes, and give all the info on what happened in the turn, take screen shots, and then we can talk about it. Orders for the fallowing turn can be placed in the Prez's orders thread. Right now, it is confusing to find out what is going on.
classical_hero Aug 18, 2005, 12:34 AM Not right now when their is not much happening. We will need to do that once there is alot happening.
