As Public Defender, you will have the interests of a citizen or the whole citizenry at heart. Do you forsee any conflicts of interest considering that you are also an elected organ of the state? If a movement arises that seeks to limit the reach of the State as a whole, or the Judiciary specifically, how will you reconcile those competing forces?
