I will be gone from August 4 - 7, and possibly longer. One of my uncles died over the weekend, so I'll be away for a while. I'll be able to pop in here prior to thursday, but after that it'll be touch and go probably for the next week.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to let you know that I only have modem access to the internet (and this thing is slow even for a modem) for roughly the rest of this month, so I won't be able to contribute much if anything until some time next week. This looks to be interesting though. :)

I'll be gone away until Sunday. I'm taking a computer with civ and CA2 with me in case I can get onto the ether. The place we're staying supposedly has broadband access. We'll see. I'll have to sneak around during nap-time and check on things, but we'll see.

On a chat w fe3333 of MIA fame I've been told that Whompie and AK has been suspended for we don't know how long. They apperently saw Provo's mis-post (containing some stupid plans) and answered it in main thread. Rik has asked us to not discuss it any further but I think our guys are all good. I thanked fe for the info.

I believe Whomp and AK let the admins know they'd been spoiled and volunteered to remain silent for some period of time. Some of us were in chat with Rik and RegentMan last night, and they said it was alright to let the team know, but you're right...it's not to be discussed.

I just want to say how much I'll miss them :( , that I hope the silent period is very short :) , and that I think it very honorable of them to be honest with the admins about what happened. :goodjob:

Let's try to do our very best to take care of things while they're gone so that their return will be as smooth as possible.

Actually they have been informed not to use any of the info they gained, or alter their plans in anyway because of the info they learned. Their choice to remain quiet for a while is, well, their choice. They were not suspended, they still have access, they still can discuss etc., as long as their input is not based on what info they know, rather what the team collectively knows.

The team may have to go without my wit and wisdom from Sun. Oct. 23rd to Monday Oct. 31st.

I will be in Carlinville, IL for a week of training and I'm not sure that they have computers or electricity down there.

Try not to surrender without me.

I will be gone from the team Thursday Nov. 3rd and back Sunday Nov. 6th. It's highly probable we will be 'Slingered so you may see a couple Wildcats blathering about nothing over the weekend.

I'd like to leave a notice of end of an absence. :) I somehow found a bunch of interest to further my studies (which is pretty rare) so I figured to make full use of it. Slowed down the pace a little now which means I'll have time for civving again, but will probably take a few days before I can catch up with things here.

I will be unavailable for a few days. November 15th is a religous holiday here in Michigan - the opening of firearm deer season.

Don't worry, you'll all be in my thoughts. I might even think of TNT too, :sniper:

I do not hunt but I have a bad habit of hitting them with my truck. Since 1993 I have hit 11 deer. I figure I have done close to 30K in damage to my vehicles since then. (I never hit a deer until I bought my first New car).
