Are we really allowed to just vote for everyone? (as thats what I want to do)

Yup - that's my plan as well.

Who wins, top three?

Who wins, top three?

Hopefully, everyone.

Each person that gets more than half of the the voters to support them goes into the pool. For example, right now, 9 people have voted. Everyone with 5 or more votes of support (or everyone) would go into the pool.

Within the pool, order is given to those getting the most votes first, then order of acceptance second.

Is there any significance to the fact that some of the names are in italics and others are not? Just curious.

italics indicate the people you voted for. if there are any names up there not italicized, that means you didn't vote for them.

Lots of ties in this one. I'll make a short speech:

I have plenty of experience playing Civ3 (vanilla, PTW, and C3C). I've played numerous 5CC games, developed many strategies (see my post in the 5BC thread in the citizens forum), and my most comfortable level is demigod, which is above emperor. I always strive for finding the best possible location, which I'll use our explorers (units) to scout for. The most important thing early on is to scout out about 8 tlies in a radius from the capital, and to grab each spot before the AI does. This is emperor, so we'll have to focus hard on expanding our first 5 cities, and building the infrastructure to get a good economy. We have the commercial and scientific trait, so rivers, lakes and coast are very important.

CG - that's up to each DP. Once you know when the DP before you goes, schedule your chat.

From the CoL:
A Game Session Instruction Thread must be created at least 2 days before the chat by the Designated Player for that session. Should a thread not be created in a timely manner, the President may create one. Game Sessions must be at least 3 days apart, no more than 7 days apart.

For example, Oct might schedule the creation chat for Wednesday night. CT could schedule hers Saturday night at the earliest. There is no "master" schedule.

Also, there isn't a mandated maximum number of turns - DP's can play as long as there are relevant instructions, until they decide to end it or when an instruction calls for things to end. Our more talented DP's will be able, and willing, to go longer. I know that I won't go much beyond 10 or so, but I hope that some will be able to. That will help keep things going when it's slow, but allow us the time when we need to focus.

Looks like I'll probably get to settle my city (maybe). I just hope this setup doesn't get too messy.... (wait a minute... didn't Oct mention once that he didn't have C3C?)

What gave you that impression? I've had C3C since just after it's released - got it for about $10 from Amazon. :D

Last demogame, when I asked you to play a turnchat, you said something about you not having C3C.
