I use cut and paste(using Paintshop Pro 8, Steph's Storyboard builder, and Flicster) to make the units la_dav. I used Utahjazz's Oscan Companion(the horseman) and his Inti Warrior, and cropped parts of them toghether. This guy uses the same pallette as Utah's Oscan Companion. ;)

A very good looking unit. Jus a fantastic C&P job.
Yellow horse are a bit uncommon though... war paint for the 4footed!

This unit is Much better and the Shadows are Good :goodjob: ...just a little upper body "shifting/bobbing" from pasting slightly off on that part.

You can copy part of the Frame Lines such as a Corner of the frame along with the Unit part to use as a "guide" for accurate placement of the part you are pasting on the new storyboard IF the Frames are the same size.

Actually, Inca resistance continued for decades after the initial Spanish conquest, and the Incans learnt to ride horses and use them for cavalry during this time, so an Inca cavalryman need not be ahistorial.

Why not try an African horseman/knight unit? I've certainly requested this in the past - and I may be wrong, but haven't you said before that more African units are needed?

Songhai Knight is Mali, not Chinese(I keep getting the two confused myself lol)

DPII' unit is in his African pack(The Dark Continent) back somewhere on this board. What R8XFT wants I think, is an upgrade for that, something like Kal-el's drawing.

Yeah, Songhai was an empire in the Mali area. The Knight was the best fit for Mali's UU.

I have the colour conversion of the Horseman which I can use and am going to experiment with mounted units in Poser. It was just that if you were doing one, then a basic mounted pre-gunpowder unit of your choice for the Africans would be nice. Perhaps something akin to the Ancient Cavalry ;) .

How about an "Archer of the Eyes" unit for the Nubians? The Nubians were famous for their archers.

I think Odedai was thinking of the Medival Christian Nubians that held off the Arabic conquerors for several hundred years, though I could be wrong.

well in Egyptian times Nubia was famous for the archers, which is why they hired nubian mercenaries has archers and why the Egyptian word for "Nubia" is "Ta-Seti" meaning Land of the Bow.
