When settler is finished we can statr building something new. Archer, horsemen garrison. No buildings. What will it be guys?

*Also if im not mistaken its the CP's job to direct settler improvemnts. So, what are we going to do with this settler improve duck pond or send out to found a new city?

I say we need to build a temple. My logic is this:

1: this is the city that will become our Science Hub (SSC)

2: This city will grow rapidly given the fish and wheat meaning we will need happiness to keep our bronzeworkers working.

3: Caravans can help build the wonders, and military can come from other cities, but the temple has to be built here.

4: We have already decided to build a settler here, and while that is fine, building a second will slow us down too much.

5: Another civilization has already started a wonder. We must hurry, and now is the time to build a temple and then rush it when it gets close to completion.

Definitely a temple.

Regarding the settler, we may want to start a poll just for it. On one hand, this will be our SSC, which means it needs roads built around it for trade and to aid caravans' travel and benefits. On the other hand, adding a third unit under this city's support will slow its production and growth a lot at this stage. However, once we reach Monarchy, then three units will be supported for free, and the two food we lose to the settler can be gotten back through irrigation. My vote goes to using the settler to enhance the terrain around Duck Pond.

Temple. I agree with Apollo about the settler.

Yep, Temple.

(WITH REBEL I NOW MEAN THE RED GUY)
Apollo, Temple makes 1 rebel contined, Mil unit also 1.
So on emperor (Where the first rebel comes on size 3) It can go to size 4 without lux.

So no need of Irrigation, just build a new city.

Two Phalanx do the job of any temple, are cheaper, and can kick @$$ if required. Build PHALANX and vote for economic efficiency and military prowress :D

PS A temple can also double as a Chapterhouse for the War Church :D :goodjob: while we await the building of the Motherhouse (a cathedral of course) in Olympia. ;)

I like Hippo's thinking! But a phalanx and a warrior can do the job of a temple just as easily, with the additional defence that would prevent 2 warriors being the easiest option. But that of course would mean that we would lose 2 shields production having to support them both. We already have 2 units! God knows why our SSC should support the horseman as well. I think that this was an error and would prefer it to be switched back to Olympia. A temple is the best option and can quell the squabbling masses while we force them to build a colossal statue of a duck in the harbour.

Yes to the temple. :goodjob:

No to supporting units in our SSC. That's why the horseman support should be transfered to another city.

Temple, and why are those fish not being used?!!?

6 trade arrows at this stage would cut 1, maybe 2 turns off research!

The settler should build roads on the special grasslands ONLT, and move off to found another city.
