With Ginger_Ale being gone until the 25th, and myself being gone from the 19th to the 21st, there will be about a two day period this game doesn't have an active administrator (I'm sure I can check on things in the first half of the 19th and the latter half of the 21st). What do the teams want to do? Anyone can post their opinions here.

Here are some possible options:

*Don't play until I return.

*Keep playing as normal (but stop in case something fishy occurs)

*Let someone babysit the game (e.g. Rik)

Thoughts?

Panic!!!!! The game will now go down into the drain once you leave. Utter chaos will reign. ;) I'm sure nothing bad could happen that space of time, but if you are worried, the Mods should be able to do that job.

BTW, this is just my opinion, not of the teams as yet.

personally i would like to see Rik given temporary powers, but still stop if something gets to the point we'd need immediate authoritative conclusions

I agree that Rik should be given temporary powers. Perhaps he could even be made a third full admin. I imagine it could be helpful to have one of the admins be a mod, and the chance that all three admins would be gone would be much lower. Plus, I think he's done a good job so far assisting us with moderator actions.

The only thing I don't want to get involved in is "rule changes / additions / removals". Ginger and Regent designed the game-setup and they are the ones who decide in this field.

I'll be gone as well. If you need anything; PM Chieftess. Hopefully she'll be around. And most ordinary things (close, sticky etc.) can be posted in the needed things thread anyway. I don't see any problems with us not being present every single day.

BTW I'm sure many moderators (Ainwood, Col, Turner, Matrix etc.) are perfectly willing to do something, when asked. I'm not sure though whether they have access to your private fora.

Seriously though. If you all feel like you can play, then keep the game going. However, if an issue arises, a team may hold the save until I return.
