This text would remove doubt. and make current interpretation into written law.

An existing rule may be amended or removed after successfully receiving a two-thirds (2/3) majority vote of all remaining teams who choose to cast a vote for or against the amendment. which shall be defined as those teams still participating in the current games as well as those teams still eligible to compete in the final game.

personally I want to vote aginst this amendmant. not because I don't think abstenshions should be counted as they are, but because the law essentailly already says this, and we don't want to set a precedent ofunnecessary amendments

I agree and support the Captains logic ...

Abstain votes are due either to the argument for an ammendment not being strongly or clearly enough expressed ... or that the issue is not important enough for support or rejection of the change ...

EDIT - It would be ludicous for a vote to be passed with 1 affirmative, 0 negative and all other abstaining votes

first time i took notice of this (i get side tracked) and i dont see the point in it i dont know whether to abstain or just vote no but perhaps im making my decision to hastely
