I have not seen a thread specifically designed for this purpose, so here it is. If you have a succession game and it needs a player or two, post here, along with a link. It might be easier for someone looking for a succession game to be able to see all the openings at one spot.

Please only post if you have any open succesion game. This thread should only be used to attract new people to your game When your game is complete, please come back and delete your post, that way, we will only have open games on this thread.

Ok, then. A couple of people are looking for a game to join and I've wanted to try my hand in a suc. game for some time now, so I will set one up.

I will be looking for about 3-4 players. Difficulty will only be Warlord though I'm normally at Regent, but I want it easy for this first one. Standard size, continents and, well, just a standard game. I'm not sure about which Civ we are going to be yet, but it'll probably be Greeks simply because I haven't played them yet.

Just to note, our civ is in the midsts of an invasion, and we're in the middle ages, so this game has been going on for quite a while.

Yet another person who wants to join a sucsession game.
Tend to play as industrious Civs, mainly Eygpt and France. I'm very confortable on Warlord but haven't tried the next level up (Prince?) quite yet.

Just in case the guy who asked about how to zip and upload files hasn't found out yet or anyone else wants to know heres how to do it.
1. You need a zipping tool, the most common being Winzip (http://www.winzip.com/ddchomea.htm). Download the evaluation version (they seem to work fien even after their evaluation time has run out.)
2. Go to the directory you have Civ in (standard is c:/programfiles/inforgramesinteractive) and go to teh saves folder. Right click on the file you want to zip and click "add to zip." You can set the compression leval but normal is more than seficante. Add and replace is the default save option which has worked fine for me.
3. On the write your post screen scroll to the bottem and you'll see "Attach file." You can either type in the Full directory or use the browse button.
Write your post and then click submit and the file will appear with the post. (it may take a small amount of time depending on connection speed)

Here's what I'm thinking....Monarchy level conquest only with two rules:

(1) you cannot defeat ANY capital city until ALL non-capital cities (of ALL civs) are captured.

(2) no razing of cities.

Think of it as Civ3 8-ball.

BEWARE....culture flipping is going to be a problem. I'm putting the no-razing rule in so that we actually have to deal with it instead of razing cities next to the capital.

Personally, I want get better at dealing with CFs when in warmongering mode.

I'd like to get 4 or 5 in. Let me know if you are interested.
