We should be able to get all of those for writing (or if not, one of our later monopolies).

I think we should probably hold off on all of them, wait until we get writing. In particular, we don't want to get giving away GPT at this stage.

Archers are weak. If we want to crush something, then we will have to wait for Iron Working.

I think we need to get The Wheel asap. We will have another settler before we know it and we need to know where those horsies are before we found cities 3, 4, and 5. We will use Writing to buy IW.

Wait for writing, but the french wc trade isn't that bad so we might want to do that.

I think tech purchases can wait. In the meantime, we can accumulate additional funds while waiting for the price to drop as more civs acquire those techs.

Already 3 civs have The Wheel, so why wait for others? Besides, it won't be great if we stay backwards for too much time. We will have to be at least moderately advanced
