It seems we are wasting valuable food, so I would as Shahanshah recommend Pottery right away, as we need granary immediately. We can still get a SoZ with a Pyramid prebuild.

Yet, I will put the following up for a vote:

pottery then alpha/math. we need early cities.

The loyal peasants of Iron require more food! Give us some pots to put it in. Or some tupperware, either way.

I'm voting for alphabet and math so we can get working on that statue. I guess I can live with pottery first if we have a plan to build graneries in some cities.

We are going to start a pyramid prebuild for that statue long before MATH, so no worries. But we need granaries in two of the 4 cities for a swift expansion. I intend to quadruple the number of cities from 4 to 16 next term if I am reelected, by effectively a factor of 400 % - 12 new cities in 30 turns.
