Greetings, and welcome to the establishment of a new political party, as I have done here.

Tonight is a great leap forward in the establishment of our fine empire, and the Capito-Republican leadership (me) is pleased with the current economic viability of our expanding nation.

The Capito-Republican (CR) party has been established to stand up for freedoms exercised by the people of United Fanatica.

Statement By The Party President
Concerning The State Of The Party

DECEMBER 21ST, 2001
10:49PM CENTRAL STANDARD TIME

Good evening.

Our small party has just been established to bring together a great empire, and a great people.

We share a common bond, the citizenship of our great nation. It is now time to extend this great nation from the plains of Olympia to the seas and beyond, and go forth as we look toward a bright future.

I believe in our people as strong, intelligent, and civil. My wish is to bring this to all of the people of the present, and future.

Thank you, and may the Lord bless United Fanatica.

-Ryan M. Sharpe,
Capito-Republican Party President

Official Stances On Issues

1. Government
1.1 - Aristocracy

We publicly condemn the actions of an absolute despotism, and show no support whatever for a regime or a government that would act in a fashion similar to this.

1.2 - Freedom

The people should be free from a tyrannical government, free to express their beliefs in a rational and civil manner.

1.3 - Taxes

The government should not behave as if they supply the money, but understand that the people (civilians) are not overtaxed by an oppressive government, and that there is little corruption or waste by a democratic government.

1.4 - Luxuries

The government should provide luxuries to people at a fair balance to the tax that is taken from their incomes.

2. Diplomacy

2.1 - Tribute Distribution

May the government, under no circumstances, unjustly demand tribute payments from our diplomatic partners. May the government only demand payments under a circumstance of reparation to damage the foriegn nation has inflicted upon us.

2.2 - Alliance Treaties

May the government sign no treaties that would give military aid to nations that are committed to act against freedom (be they the following: Despotism, Monarchy, Communism, Fundamentalism).

2.3 - Arms Sales

May the government trade with no hostile neighbors, nor provide the neighbor with armaments that could be used against our growing nation.

2.4 - Warfare

May the government use no barbaric invasions of one's territory to force them into conflict, as this is a barbaric and unjust process.

3. Domestic Policy

3.1 - National Defense

The government should provide a strong national defense, allowing all of our people to be safe from barbarism and terrorism against the civilized world.

3.2 - Environment

May the government not construct city improvements that would harm the environment, as the threat of a temperature rise in the world would result in starvation and nomadic behavior as demonstrated by moving away from the polluted areas.

3.3 - Wonders of the World

May the government construct many Wonders of the World, as they will improve the national quality of living for all of the people.

Specifically, we request that these be the ones built:

Pyramids
Hanging Gardens
Michaelangelo's Chapel
J.S. Bach's Cathedral
Adam Smith's Trading Co.
Women's Suffrage
Hoover Dam

I think it's specifically stated as at this phase of the game that there shld be no political parties. ;) Only citizens' groups and special interest groups and the like. So you may want to rephrase your organization charter a bit. ;)
