Late last week I took my son and several of his friends camping down the back valley. The days were long, the fishing good. Into the night we sat around the fire enjoy the cool breeze and telling yarns of the night creatures of the ancients.

It was listening to boys talk of such things that I picked up on an interesting thought... what will we do when we finally meet Alf. Yeah Alf, alien life form, a small furry fella that eats wild cats and tells really bad jokes. The boys had several great yarns on this fella.

So I ask the great leadership of my lands, what will we do? Are we prepared to meet Alf?

well I am serious that other nations are aliens to us

and also serious that we should get our collective together on this matter before we meet any such groups :)

This brings us back to the thread that was prematurely closed, about how to deal with foreign nations when we meet them. I suggest to send a picture of that dog and see what happens.
