i was thinking that our team should have a constitution, which basically outlines all the laws we have. i think we especially need it to figure out what all the government jobs will be and what they do. i'm not that good at writing these types of things and i really don't have the time, so maybe we can all put it together in this thread. so...does anybody have anything we could start with?

Well, we got 30 turns presidential periods, and we got some decent functions of governors overlapping cabinet positions. We do not want a Judiciary here, but some common ruleset would be nice.

agreed with the judiciary, i don't see a need to have it for 15 people. i think we should have a millitary leader who leads and moves our troops, but only in wartime. i think the satraps should keep control of troops during peacetime.

even though we have someone for foreign affairs, we should probably look on rules about ratifying treaties and so forth.

As Shahanshah, I would like to put down three legal committees, in order to draft a "Law of Foreign Relations", including polling, agreements and who to negotiate, and a "Law of Governance" for powers, polls, mandates and agreements on build queues.
Finally, I would like a committee setting up an "Law of Electorate", based on our present system we established with Shahanshah, Grand Vezeers and three satrapsies.

I would ask Donsig, Danheg and Vbraun set up a draft for the "Law of Foreign Relations"

I would ask Greekguy, Xerol and Timbentley set up a draft for the "Law of Governance"

I would ask Strider, Cooliovonhoolio and Gunner set up a draft for the "Law of Electorate"

No, we have to kidnap a politician and force him to write something for us. The only question is who we should kidnap.

Provo, can you define *exactly* what you mean by a Law of Electrate. I know the general idea, but some clarification would be nice.

Strider, I picked you to do this as you got some fine background there.
Just to get in our positions (Shahanshah and Crown Prince), 2 Grand Vezeers, 3 Satraps (overlapping governor/minister) and possibly ambassadors. 30 turn election cycles, nomination rules, election rules, polling and so on. The process leading up to the election.
