Ok I have created a new proveince wich includes potopilia and athena. We need to choose the name of that proveince and finalize a name on the capital province. And we need a governer for the new one. Please nominate people. I dont know who is interested otherwise I would of nominated. Also the governer of province "1" is adamsj.

I think potopilia should be the capital, and if he can serve as so, nominate poto as govoner.

also, should you ever need to name somehting after me {like if you run out of other names} please e-mail me first. pellakeniddea would sound pretty stupid :)

You CAN nominate yourself. If we dont get anymore nominiees i'll pick another nominee.(pell, poto already has a job and where there is no rule aginst it id would frown apon haveing two postions)

Ok this is probaly what you'll do.

Governors will survey the militia of his provenice. Making sure it is sufficient and up to date. If the governor feels that more troops are needed in a particular area it is his job to report that.

We might expaned these powers in the future because we do not have a mayorol sytem.

BTW Spy, I think it's too early for governors. Think, soon we'll have 100 cities - are you going to have a governor for every 2? I didn't think so ;) Make your provinces larger, say, 6-8 cities per.

I would like to be a nominee for the next governer position because I am guessing its too late to join this one...

checking the rules, its you, spy, who choses the gov's. will you rotate them? or are they appointed for life? if you are rotating, I would like to be placed on the list, and when I am not elected to office next time round {unless only 1 other person runs for the office I want} then I'll see what I can do as a gov.

Yeah we will have elections for gov sooner or later. My plan is for only the citizens of that proveince to vote in those but we will see what comes around....This governer will be installed when the new cabinet is. Then every 34 days new elections will be held so a) i leave a mark of my inflence and b) there is not a total power shift. Sound good? BTW dell, pell :p as soon as we make a new proveince i'll throw you in. Which reminds me, I need to know what to name the proveinces!

eathier way, we should stick to one theme. for example, all provinces are states in the USA, or, all are nations in africa, or, all are cities in europe, or, all are names of people in Civ, etc...

I am gonna give up, and juse use the alphabetical order that we already have. the only data I have for sure is atleast 10 years old.

I know! The alphabetical list took ages to find, and it took info from 4 sites, and my head to constuct it.

well, once school starts up again, I can get info from the 2000 encylopedias. for now, we have 3 province names for sure. Spy, what would you rather have? this current alphabetical list, or any distance list I can find, despite the age.

I used to love planets when I was youger, perhaps I can find one my my older books, but like I said, that data would be about 10 years old...

Well we have a list but it is more than likely incomplete. It would be a lot of work pell. So I think we will just use thsi there are more than enough names. But if you hsppen to run across anything we could use it I guess. So basicaly dont worry about it.

Currently my idea of a governor is someone who monitors their province and mkaes sure that there is enough troops to guard the cities, settlers being using to improve the land and to check that all the necessary production polls have been made. Is this about right?
