I downloaded the V-2 Rocket from one of those "alternate" forums, and there was a lot of praise for the unit, and looking at it, the unit does look really good.
I set all the pediaicons graphics according to the V-2 units folder, and also updated the units_32 pcx file, but when I enter a game, and go to the civilopedia for V-2, it shows an enlarged image of the units_32 file, and NOT the units\V-2 file!
And it's really ugly. It seems that the units_32 file is expanded to fit into the size of a civpedia\units\etc file. Magenta background and HUGE pixels.
Is it possible that this is caused by downloading a unit meant for Civ3 and not Conquests? Does that sort of thing matter?
Anyone else run into problems using the V-2 rocket? Where can I download a set of files that doesn't corrupt like this? Wahn!!
