The only good trades was with Rome. So here are the Trades...

Trades w/ Rome

Trade Philo for 141 Gold

Trade CoL for 141 Gold

Trade Lit for 141 Gold

Persia knows CoL, so if we don't get Rome's gold, Persia will.

These are the current trade options. As TimBently says, Persia knows COL so we should trade that. Rome will give 141 gold, there is also 37 gold on offer from France. We need to make sure we sell COL to France, not Persia or Rome. We either do it now or wait it little until France have more gold and hope Rome or Persia don't beat us to it. I would probably sell to France now after we have sold to Rome.

To make it clear: Sell COL to Rome then France.

i was thinking philo. it can't help rome and we would still get a lot of money. we should also trade philo to france as well we would get around 150 gold without helping the AI. we could do this before the DP starts the next turn.

If we trade Philo, then Rome can trade it outright to Persia for Code of Laws. And then there goes our tech lead.

I also approve of getting 37 gold from France while we can.

And then there goes our tech lead.Absolutely, infact if we trade either Philo or Lit they will be able to swap that tech with Persia wiping out our lead. If we trade COL they can only sell to Germany who has no gold to speak of.

I'm not sure either why this is a multiple choice poll, after all Rome only has one lot of 141 gold.

sorry i didn't realize that. i still stand by getting 37 gold from france. also, could a mod change my vote to trade CoL to rome for 141 gold.
