This is just an informative thread to see how you found out about the Mutli-team Democrasy game.

I was browsing the Civ3 fantatics page, downloads, etc. and come across the link for the DemoGame website... followed... started reading... tried to find the DG7 forums, which was really tough, seeing as how the 'official website' didn't link to it in a user-friendly way. But now I'm here, and bookmarked.

I'm in a PBEM with RegentMan and I read his signature. I requested the opportunity to create a team full of idiots and grumpy old men I know.

;)

I was apart of the CFC ISDG team when we began tossing the idea around (DaveShack created that thread, if I recall). It stagnated for awhile, and I tried to get some pre-game things organized (my little bullet list) and offered to admin the game. Ginger_Ale was doing the same, and we finally got enough people together to start planning the game.

I put this in my signature the entire time to try to spark interest (it appears it worked) and hey, it's still there!

I was following Strider around and ended up here. I'm really lost and trying to find my way back to the Cage Match.

I felt badly wronged in the ISDG games CFC team by some Soviet leadership style.
This is my therapy to lead a team in an open, informative (to my team that is) and democratic manner, with most decisions polled. For example, I liked how Rik lead our team, but not his predecessor, and this is where I am at. By doing the right things, you are undoing the culture of the negative ones. Internally, we have a great, nice congenial tone, void of condescending Soviet style apparatchik gloating and with respect for individual contributions and alternative ideas.

Also, I encourage long term planning and some consistency of thought.
