The Governor of Olympus is responsible for the care, management, and use of the city and may also set up a civic government in any manner they see fit that does not conflict with Fanatikos laws.

The Governor is a member of the Senate which is responsible for choosing a President should an election cycle complete with no citizen elected as President, and for placing Fanatikos in a state of Mobilization. The Senate also has the power to declare War.

Citizens of Fanatiko,

I would like to be given a chance to run a city. It has been a while since I have ever set foot in the governorship but I have held experience from past demogames. I aspire to be voted into the governor's position because I feel it is the best office for me, as a college student, to take. I do not want to see the term 2 elections as a failure to me, but as a way for me to adapt my strategies on presenting my platform.

I may not be the new kid on the block, but I do have Indomitable Spirit, persistence, and motivation to keep on trying for the governor's seat, even as a vet citizen. I feel with my experience that I have a lot to offer in the governorship such as micromanagement and setting queues. I even helped Civlord as Lt. Governor in his office. I plan to listen to the demands of both the fiscal watchdogs of Fanatiko, the Fanatiko military, and the happiness of the citizens.

My general platform is to focus on the present and plan for the future. I do plan on working with the city to bring out the best gold it can get out. My queues will depend on the world situation, if we are at peace, I will commit to building economic and happiness buildings. If we are in the road to war, I would build offensive units and defensive units to export to weakly defended cities. Since I foresee that we would be in the "road to war" phase more often, I would have a mix of units and buildings during peace time. During war time, I will ensure that the queues will have vet offensive units out in the field to strengthen our army and to replace the fallen. As well, I will listen to suggestions from other citizens since I believe in an open door office.

I would like to nominate zyxy to the governorship of Olympus. zyxy was a galvanizing force in the construction of the Mausoleum of Mausollos, and deserves a chance to run his beloved city.

I also endorse the candidacy of CivGeneral, and hope that my nomination of another citizen does not distract the populace from his accomplishments. I am merely looking for a contested election for our capital.
