Viking ruler has done a solid job these past two terms, however over the course of term 2 Ranger99 showed himself to be an exemplary player and is well skilled, I fuly support Ranger99 for minister of defence

I would like to point out some key points I would achieve if elected:

- Have succesful wars by having disscussions on battle plans and examining every angle of a the war as well as enemy counter-attacks
- A solid defensive force at easily fortifiable locations such as mountains and hills, with fortresses and barricades to strengthen our defenses
-A strong intelligence program with a battalion of 5 horsemen at positions that produce no blind spots, they will conduct rounds thus finding enemy units who walk near them
-If units evade our spies, a wall of outposts 1-3 squares in front of our borders will catch any enemy units who get past our horses.

This is a tough call, but Ranger99 has put forward the lion's share of military strategy during Term 2 and deserves his shot at the office.

While Ranger99 did make a map about a war with Persia that did not happen I on the other hand made a very in depth map on war with Germany, that didn't happen but almost did, there was no discussion on fighting persia. I also, made a map on our national defense, no one posted but it did include a massive amount of military information.

I myself announed my wish to abstain from Conflict in the Persian War, but I am NOT Fanatikos, there are other citizens and leaders as well, for people to evaluate the ups and downs of a possible fighting operation I posted the map, and it was good practice as well :D

Examining every angle is key to any military operation and that's no easy task, even the most far-reaching possiblites must be discussed and brought to light, in the real world, whole Urban Assault and Rescue Missions can hinge on the number of steps in a stairwell, get the number wrong and you'll lose. The same rule applies to Civ. just a tad bigger and smaller at the same time. Bigger because you're dealing in a strategic instead of tactical map and objectives, yet smaller because nobody's really going to die. :D

Haha, when I lived in America, I could smell the militancy permeate even the most mundane jobs. I overheard some Cinema-guard talking about "getting a visual" and "Ten-Four" and so on, as if people were living in a reenactment of A-Team or something.
However, this was Florida, California and Texas was different again.

I went to a military academy in the US back then.

Provo, seriously you went to an Academy, which one?

I'm considering going to Navy at the moment....

I've always wanted to be in the Military, and Navy's been like my only choice becasue I'm surronded by a bunch of Navy guys, the Academy looks pretty cool as well.
