Im planning on picking up a new system in the next couple of weeks. Anyone have any idea of the system requirments so far as memory, graphics or processor speed?

Purely speculating, but I believe the minimum requirements will be around a 1.2ghz processor, 256 ram, and a 64 meg HW T&L capable video card.

Always take the minimum with a grain of salt...heck, XP would struggle a wee tiny bit with these minimums.(Anything under 512MB RAM and it can be a real slow mule if you are running any apps that require a bit of memory for example).... The recommended should really be the target if you want a good experience. This is true with any software.
