I gave him some general ideas, he worked some stuff out. I like the way it has come out, but I want to see what others have to say. We will use this for our front page annoucement if we ever get around to it. :) Comment away, Mistfit wants to make this the best he can!

Great symmetry Mistfit :) But of course, as the in-house artist of KISS he placed them on the top hehe :) But for symmetry and so on, I agree :)

However, I think Doughnut could be on the top and KISS at the bottom, since that reflects the turn order.

I just wanted to get some approval from the teams first. I wondered who would be the first to snipe about team KISS being on top. I think I can still change that.... :p

I'm also planning on a 2nd page to this image with the tag line "Join the Battle" superimposed over pic's of everones UU.

I'd like input for the tag line... If you've got any suggestions please feel free to make them.

Keep in mind I am doing this for the benefit of the game. I hope to get others involved because I enjoy it (not for any altererior reasonings) Also keep in mind that I am fairly limited in my graphics programs. I currently use the cheapest (read freeware) programs available.

Looks awesome Mistfit (as usual!). If Team K.I.S.S is put on the bottom we are perfectly fine with that.

Yeah, it is more powerful and cool with a V shape than a pyramid, like more potent. For TNT, we would ideally like something like explosive, galvanized steel or something. I guess in unicolor, red could be nice.

Switching Doughnut and KISS would make it more V than pyramid yes.

Looks great! I agree with all the suggestions in this thread.

Another layout you could try is having the MTDG circle in the center, with one team at each "corner" (NE, NW, SE, SW). Also rotate the outer circle with the 4 colors to align with the team names. Was that too confusing?

I would object to maplocate the teams in the logo. By turn we know, but not by map.

Brilliant, but if we did it based on maplocation we could have MisT constantly redo it as the world is discovered and we, perhaps, relocate ourselves (or become relocated by others :D). :joke:

Agreed on the font change, as is the "Team" line merges with the team names. Maybe a little smaller (but not much) would do it. Or if you're using separate text boxes for each line, just move the "Team" up about 3 pixels or the team name down.

We might also want to have the elements of this logo available as separate parts so we can incorporate them into individual team graphics. If you have a chance to do that it's a bonus but if it's hard to do then don't bother. :) Does your graphics program have the capability to save in other popular formats?

What I was asking was if you thought I needed the word team above every team name.

I would take the word team out. It is already implied in "Multi-team".

I suggest taking away the periods between the letters where it says MTDG. no one here posts it with the periods, so i don't think it should be on the logo. :)

Really? I got a lot of guff for that one.

It looks top heavy with Team Doughnut on top, in my opinion.

Too bottom heavy with Team KISS on top. :p

Keep it on the bottom. It makes no difference, so better to have it reflect the team order. Otherwise I like it without the "Team X", rather "X". If you can maybe try a few different fonts for the "Multi-Team Demo game" text as the current one doesn't really fit, that would be cool.

The official name is Team Doughnut. The official names must be used if they are to be put on a logo.

I am with Regentman. It looked so much better with Doughnut at the bottom.

The original (with 'TEAM KISS' on top - yes, with 'TEAM') looks the best.

I think the best one yet is in post #19, without the "Team" in the names.

I actually prefer the "Team"...

I hadn't noticed it before but you are right :confused: Actually all of the color balls change up a bit which is wierd as I used the same graphics for both. I wonder if I saved them at a different compression ratio....
