There was an earlier thread about that. I have merged the new thread with the old one and move the thread (with re-direct) to the Other Civ Related Sites forum.

Other than that, you are allowed to advertise the ladder in your sigs as specified in the forum rules (http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumrules.php).

Regarding the ladder, are you sure there is a need? I thought Civ4 would have an official ladder like the ladders they have for RTS games.

TF, there is much offered by community ladders that the potential automated ladder in CIV can't offer.

On another note I do want to point out that this ladder is not run by the Administration of Civ3/Civ4players ladder, which has been the MP Community for 3 years.

Civ4players and it's forums are well under way, and it will be open for business before the NA release date of 31 Oct 05. While I have all the respect in the world for the admins of this ladder, we at Civ3/Civ4players believe that the MP community is best served by one ladder as it has been very successfully for 3 years now. And to avoid confusion any ladder that doesn't have myself, SirPartyman or F-P as Admins is in no way affiliated with the staff at Civ3/Civ4players.

I will be making a public annoucement when Civ4players is open for business.

To let you know about the Civ3players/Civ4players ladder admins. They are not in favor of a united ladder and community. Anytime anyone wants to offer a different ladder then theirs they intimidate and extort them to remove their ladder or face the consequence of the Admins. It's funny how the new ladder they are created is an INVITE ONLY ladder. The Civ3players ladder is also a INVITE ONLY ladder. We created the Civ4 ladder as a PUBLIC LADDER where civilization players can go without fear of extortion, intimidation or control. Were Major Tournament are for CLAN MEMBERS ONLY. Where the admins are a giant men's club. Who's only philosophy of running a ladder is IT'S MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY....

Badger, this is not the place to be bringing up your personal problems with the Ladder Administration, it is highly unprofessional. And according to your own Clan Captain, you do not speak for VVV either.
