Also, as TimBentley has pointed out, you missed a certain Governor who doesn't have a city until we attack one. :P

Anyway, I'm going to read up a bit more on the plans so far and hopefully ask some questions before posting my response.

I've read much of the plans, asked questions and had questions answered. While strength-wise, I believe that we have enough power to complete the job, I believe that the timing and intellegence is still lacking.

While I would object to any office repeatedly asking the same question every turnchat in the hopes to change minds, I would probably make this case an exception. Perhapswith enemy intelligence and with troops in the correct position and ready to go, and my opinion might change.

However, for this coming turnchat, I will have to vote No.

I think there should be more things for the senate to do. these senate polls are cool.

Try to ammend the constitution then.

The Governor of Civatonia votes no. Right now we are dealing with barbarians and buidling up our forces - we are in no way ready.

Hopefully the upcoming turnchat will be a shortened one (perhaps 7ish turns), and the troops will have taken care of the barbs that don't attack Heidelburg (at least I'm hoping some of them attack Heidelburg) and gone over to the German border (perhaps some of them with an attack of 4) and the war will be declared at the beginning of the one after that. As the question is worded (going by the wording in the other poll), I would have to say no.

The Governor of Styx votes no. Barbs are unpredictable enough that we can't afford the risk. When we're prepared it does appear the right target has been chosen. :)

The Governor of The Augean Stables votes no. We need to cut the current stack of Barb Horses down to a manageable size first, that may be next turnchat, but is not this one.
