I have compiled all of the resources I have used or will be using in future mods. Some of this is my own work, much of it is others. Unfortunately I do not have a list of who has done what. If you want credit for any work that is yours, please post it and I will add it to this list. I thank all who have contributed.

This contains all of the resources I did for the excellent upcoming Fallout Mod by Thorgrimm, as well as the resources used in all three of my upcoming mods (X, Godzilla, and Hawaii).

I will update this post later this week with a list of each resource, credit to the resource creator, and what mods I know they are being used in.

First off, I do want to apologize for the lack of shadows, pedia images, pedia text, and image organization. I will update this thread with developments in these areas as they occur. If someone wants to help out with any of that, please let me know and you will get credit in the mod(s) affected. :D

Well, they CAN, but not without some problems. Once you have more than 40 or so resources in one game you start to have some problems.

First off, a random map will skip some resources entirely. This can be avoided by using a prebuilt map with preplaced resources.

Secondly, at some point the code gets confused about which resources are a prerequisite for which unit/improvement. This can be helped by placing the bonus/luxury/strategic resources at certain places in the file to avoid the prereq conflict.

Third, any one city cannot gain any happiness/money benefit from more than 8 luxury resources at a time. Anything beyond that will just give you the bonuses and prereqs - as well as deny your neighbors them :)

One thing I do in my mods is allow each civ starting techs that are unique to each culture group and trait. These techs have other techs that branch out from it, and are not researchable or tradable to civs not sharing that culture group or trait. These techs often allow resources that only those civs can use - allowing you to use more resources with less of a chance for conflict.

That all having been said, I try to keep my mods under 40 resources each. Things just get too wacky otherwise.

I have some that go higher. Playtest extensively if you do. Sometimes I can get it to work - but never past 60 that I have seen.

I am working on a side mod for my 8-year old nephew that will be designed specifically for young kids. That will go into that mod :)

Created 3 more resources to add last night. Might make a few more in the next few days. I will add them to this file once done. If anyone has any requests, let me know.

How about 22 more? Here is a preview of the update I will release at the end of October. With the exception of the first (which is an altered Fallout graphic), all are originals by me. Most will be used in at least one of my 3 mods. Some are replacement graphics for existing resources. List will be provided once released.

Bananas are already in slot 23, and pineapples in 323.

Tropical fruit works for all in a generic scenario. I forget where I got the Bananas from, but I recently made the Pineapple for my Hawaiian scenario. I mean, you gotta have pineapples there, right?;)

Latest preview - now up to 30 new resources. Once I get back from Hawaii, I will post a new file to download, including all the new resources. If you have any requests in the meantime, post them here and I will see what I can do for you.
