I made a mod that changes the default ranks to new ones:

Captain---Lieutenant
Major-----Commander
Colonel---Captain
Admiral---Commodore
Baron-----Admiral
Count-----Baron
Marquis---Marquis
Duke------Duke

I think the naval ranks fit better than the default army ones. This mod
also makes it a bit harder to reach ranks of nobility.
