"Stupas" are monuments traditionally containing the relics of the Buddha. :) They are also defined as "spiritual monuments" (since some stupas don't even contain a relic ;) ) and are primarily visited by "Theravada" Buddhists.

Pretty good job!

Here is some info on Stupas for folks:

Stupas generally represent the enlightened mind of the Buddha. They were constructed since the early days of Buddhism. One of the symbolic meanings is that they represent the five elements: the square base represents earth, the round dome is for water, the cone-shape is fire, the canopy is air and the volume of the stupa is space. Stupas are often used to store relics from important teachers. They are also often decorated with prayer flags and the Buddha eyes.

Thank you.

And btw I'm still planning on doing an eye version, just haven't had the time yet.

It will take some time however, I had a computer melt down yesterday:(. Which delayed both my homework and my fun.

No hurry over here for it, and there's no disappointment. But there will be joy when it happens.

Ram, are you a buddhist? Or are you just like me, knowing everything about nothing important?

This looks awesome btw.

I belong to no religious body TG. But if there would be one I would affiliate my soul with it would probably be Buddhism. And it's very important to mankind and the world IMO, hardly as you suggest. I must send you that email, been hectic at work.

Sorry if you were insulted, though I am an athiest, I try to respect the views of others. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes not. I do however find Buddhism quite fascinating, I can't resist a big steak, but I still respect them. I apologize saying that they are unimportant. Anyone that can build massive temples, thousands of feet above the tree line in the Himalaya's has definitely got my respect. If they ever get to rebuild their temples that the Chinese destroyed I would help them out, without question.

Ok finally I tried making a version with eyes. But I'm not happy with the result, there simply isn't enough room for detail, and it looks too pixelated.

Sorry.

Update. I made a better version of the small icon, since the last version was a bit pixelated.
