hi all

this is my first post here, was very glad to find this site.
im a great fan of civ3, iv been playing this game for now 3 days, (yes im a beginner) but iv played atleast 15 hours evry day ( yes, it is a lot of fun!)
i have now 2 questions.

1, why can´t I build the railroad!?
i had the tech for a very long time, i have airplanes and tanks but no railroad! ( freaking me out!)
2: i was wondering how to get hold of the crack for the 116f version cause my cd-rom does not work all times correctly.
(freaking me out too!)

would be gratefull for some help here!:confused:

You need to have a source of coal and iron connected to your capital. Without it, you can't build railroads, ironclads...

You must secure a source of coal, if you have not done so yet. Coal....steam....steam engine.....trains....railroad. Get it. Once you have the technology and the resource, there should be no prob.:crazyeyes

Policy on no cd crack has now been solidified at civfanatics. No links or directions to unofficial no cd cracks are permitted. Person needing a no cd .exe must get it infogrames

. . . this reminds me of a situation I encountered too, and the need for a change IMHO. You should be able to build railroads without coal if you have oil and have discovered combustion. Coal is only needed for steam powered trains. I declare, here in the US I haven't seen a steam powered train in quite some time :lol:

I have obtained the v1.07 crack, but I want to play the v1.16f... problem is, my CDROM seems to be acting up!! I can't figure out if it's my CDROM, my data cable or my motherboard... sometimes, I boot, and the CDROM is there... but most of the time, I don't have it, even though I know it is all plugged in!!!:confused: :confused: :confused:

I saw the link to the v1.16f crack here, and followed the instructions, but then I'm told that the new .exe is not a valid Win32 file or something...:rolleyes:

Can anyone please direct me to another URL, or maybe help me figure this one out?
