Is this a bug or am I missing something simple here?

In the Foreign Advisor Window (F4), it seems to be mpossible to actually talk/trade/negotiate with the other leaders. Any left clicking (single or double) just highlights the leader and nothing more. All right clicking acts as an escape back to the main game window.

Am I missing something? Has anyone been able to engage a leader in the dimplomacy window?

Right clicking the leader portrait works for me. Try it. The negotiation window should come up.
